[CP] Chapter 1: An Unexpected Journey

Day 2,026, 09:09 Published in South Africa South Africa by Miyagiyoda

Thank you for your support. The past hours have been furious as we try get all our ducks in a row and access issues sorted. The morning opened with the expected flood of mail, and we were immediately faced with a Natural Enemy proposal and an MPP request.

Both matter have been dealt with in the National Assembly -- as is right -- and we have two outcomes:

Declare Brazil a natural enemy
This is a little too fast. That said, we have come to agreement with Brazil for a Training War starting on the 10th. This gives them enough time to get the message out not to wipe South Africa out of ignorance. The regions affected will be food resource bonuses and thus will not disrupt our weapons production. South Africa can effectively hit as hard as they need in all battles. Brazil will ease off on the Resistance Wars to prevent a wipe.

Your challenges are:
- Collect Battle Hero medals
- Collect Resistance War medals
- Rank and make South Africa stronger.

All you Brazil haters, this is your opportunity. Give us 50 points in a battle and I know we have enough game to move forward.

Thank you, Marmaduke IV for your enthusiasm for an issue already initiated by the DoD, but your timing was off by 72 hours. I would appreciate a short discussion first next time. We all would. That's how proposals pass.

Mutual Protection Pact with Malaysia
After discussion with Malaysia, it turns out an agreement with Thailand is still
a very long way off. All Malaysia want is a single region to call their own. Sarawak is a duplicate Rubber resources that Thailand does not need. The self-styled King of Thailand is not prepared to budge. They are out of options.

The MPP is mutually beneficial. It gives Malaysia access to out Brazilian war for DO and us access to their Thai war for an additional Daily Order. We expect an accessible battle every 3rd or 4th day with RWs in-between. Thailand has a hefty MPP stack, so do not expect a push-over.

Cabinet
The current cabinet is not complete, but this is what we have:

Dept. of Defence
Minister Greekpwner
Deputy: Niffobti

Dept. of Foreign Affairs
Fhaemita Malodourous
Grimstone

Dept. of Security
Minister: LiquidIce
Immigration: Uber Kiko

Dept. of Domestic Affairs
Minister: El Reto
Deputy: ppandp

Key balance is. Balance good is. Karate good is.

NaN
Cody Caine will remain South Africa's consul to NaN. Its is unfair to chop and change the consul, and he does a sterling job representing NaN and keeping South Africa's interests in mind.

The position of Tribune is up for appointment. NaN needs a good organiser to coordinate DoD and MU for the alliance. Tribunes are responsible for:

- Organising strikes.
- Calling battles.
- Tactical decisions in battle.
- Distributing supplies.
- Quarter Mastering for supplied battles.

I also encourage anyone who want to be more involved to apply with Cody for the positions of Proconsuls and Centurions in NaN.

NaN and your MU
Every MU with more than 10 members is eligible and encouraged to send a rep to NaN. If you don't want to join the forums at http://nan-alliance.org then idle in #NaN.supply so that you can be part of battle coordination.

One nation
One people
One vision

Amandla, Awethu. Power to the people.

TL😉R Applications for my June cabinet are still open to all who want to work for a new dispensation in South Africa. We have work to do to kick-start South Africa before the world changes irrevocably.
