The RW

Yesterday we contacted our MU leaders and Poland about setting up an RW for our congress elections. Our MoD asked for 10 players to be on the ready while we continued to set up the plans with Poland to ensure our victory. Unfortunately, many of our guys jumped the gun and supported to RW a bit too early. This forced us to rush the process a bit without giving Poland full time to react. Once this RW was started, we had no choice but to give it our all.

We did manage fair contact with Poland, but their response was not very encouraging. They explained that they do support our right to reclaiming our region, but they can’t help us at the time due to having damage needed elsewhere. Yet a large majority of the forces fighting against us were the PCA, or Polish Citizen Army.

We appear to be in a situation where the Polish government is on our side and supports us, but their people do not. After this latest RW it is quite clear that many Polish players, specifically the PCA, do not care about Netherland’s sovereignty, the treaty we have in place with Poland, or the orders of their own government. Because of this we are going to have to change our strategy around to reflect the situation.

For now on we are going to RW, and RW, and RW, until we secure our region. We are still going to work with Poland’s government, but we have to take it into our own hands to make sure we get what is rightfully ours. We were very kind in holding off from retaking our region during their war with Hungary, but it appears that was a mistake. For now on we will be taking whatever advantages we can to reclaim our treaty region while still being diplomatic with Poland.

I still have faith that we can continue a good relationship with Poland while we retake our region, but this new development will make things more difficult. At the end of the day this is our region, and we have a right to it through treaty and through NL sovereignty.
