[CP] Another Successful term is Successful

Citizens of Ireland,

Today I publish this article as my second term as the President of Ireland comes to an end. It was another successful term, what else can be expected when the ICA are in charge?

There hasn’t been a flow of articles from my administration this term as there was last term but I am confident you have all seen how tirelessly I worked and how tirelessly my cabinet worked to bring you another month of victory and joy.



Denmark

This was our first achievement of the month. Our original objective was to pass through Denmark, wiping them to close our NE proposal and then to immediately set an NE against the Poles. This favoured the Danes as they were fighting a domestic Serbian PTO issue and an Irish wipe (no Danish congress) would assist them. My old scamming days came to my aid when, during the RW of Midtjylland on the 23rd, the Serbians PTOs came to me and
asked to make a deal. They realized we were trying to go for Poland and
only needed to win another 2 battles bringing us up to 6 rounds won to wipe

Denmark and be able
to NE Poland, they asked if they let us win another 2 rounds could we stop hitting and let them have the region. I agreed with no intention of
letting them take the region but the intention of them stopping there hits for 2 rounds and letting us focus on Scotland :3.





UK

Another successful month in the war against the UK. I met with our counterparts in Canada, France & the Netherlands and we held discussions about the UK. The results of the discussion declared that Canada & France would make the UK their NE whilst we kept ours against them. Our objective was to abolish the congress of the UK. With Don Vito IBhoy governing the plan we were never destined to fail. The Brits were wiped, their on-slaught RW were put down and our counter attacks resulted in them being wiped 3 consecutive times.

Poland

The one that got away ;_;

As I stated above we NE’d Denmark originally to boarder Poland. During my last term we removed Poland from the USA and now I felt a bit ambitious and wanted to remove Poland from the map. An NE against Poland would of opened an EDEN front, one they wouldn’t of been able to prepare for.

After the long effort of getting through Denmark we passed our NE against Poland but the Poles, seeing an Irish attack as a huge threat, let the RW in Schleswig-Holstein & Hamburg fall to Germany, removing our boarder.

EDEN



This term was an epic month for EDEN. ONE countries were wiped left , right and centre and EDEN were really showing their dominancein the game. This was down to one fact the dedication of the EDEN HQ team and the dedication of each member state.



New Taxes



New taxes this
month have been put in place to make sure the
next Administration does not have the same problem as I had. I was forced to pay 12 MPPs this monthby myself. Irelands VAT was at 1% which was foolish for such a small country. We were virtually making no money except for the money Sweet Drinker was making on the Monetary Market. The new taxes were met with a bit of oppositions from people who put personal profits before national goals. Ireland needs to make money and it’s not plausible for us to rely on the donations from citizens. If anyone in the future votes Tax changes to VAT VOTE NO!!
