A rough predicition of what this month is gonna look like

Beste burgers,

Terwijl de “election committee” (de headless chicken, wedden?) de eerlijkheid van de afgelopen CP-verkiezingen, feliciteer ik het Nederlandse volk met een spannende en vooral ook waardig verlopen verkiezing. Geen (nauwelijks) getroll, een gemoedelijke sfeer (voor het eerst organiseerden de kandidaten zelf een “debat”) en vooral een zekere uitkomst: wat er ook gebeurt, eNederland heeft op de zesde van deze maand een betrouwbare president! En voor wie dat niet denkt:

Ik zie er erg naar uit mijn verantwoordelijkheden als CP op me te nemen, maar voor ik plaatsneem zijn er een paar dingen die nog moeten gebeuren of worden gezegd.

- Je kunt je nog steeds opgeven voor de Nationale Regering Mattio I. Daarvoor heb je dit weekend nog de tij😛 het formulier blijft open tot maandagavond (9 april). Spreid je kansen en wees niet bang om iets nieuws te proberen! Ben je net nieuw in eRepublik? Schroom niet: jonge spelers maken veel kans op een positie als Staatssecretaris! 😉

- Mattio I zal maandagavond gepresenteerd worden. Met vragen over de regering, mijn plannen en mijn meningen kun je me opzoeken op IRC: Dinsdag, 10 april, zal tussen 2😇0 en 22:30 het eerste “vragenuurtje” zijn. Alle gestelde vragen en samenvattingen van mijn antwoorden zullen die avond gepubliceerd worden. (Schroom niet: spreek me aan!)

- Eén positie is al bepaald en dat is die van Vice President. Van Spijck en ik hebben tijdens deze verkiezingen de belofte gedaan dat ongeacht wie wint, de ander zijn vCP zou worden. Onze politieke stijlen zijn erg verschillend en zo hopen we discussie te bevorderen en ook zo veel mogelijk mensen aan te spreken. Van Spijck: gefeliciteerd! 😃

- Ik feliciteer Van Spijck ook met deze geweldige verkiezingen. Uit eigen ervaring weet ik hoe frustrerend het is om twee keer achter elkaar niet gekozen te worden, maar deze verkiezingen hebben ons als persoon en politicus dichter bij elkaar gebracht. Ik verwacht een goede samenwerking met hem als mijn vCP!

- Het is erg ongelukkig, maar dit weekend ben ik druk bezet. Als je mij wilt contacteren, stuur gerust een PM en je krijgt maandagavond of dinsdagochtend een vriendelijke reactie. Goed nieuws: tot 23 april heb ik vakantie en dus alle tijd voor mijn verantwoordelijkheden als CP.

Dear citizens,

While the “election committee” (it’s the headless chicken, bet?) is checking the fairness of last CP elections, I congratulate the Dutch people with an exciting and above all valuable elections day. No (or hardly any) trolling, a good atmosphere (for the first time, candidates organized a “debate” themselves) and a sure result from the beginning: whatever happens, the eNetherlands will have a trustworthy president on the sixth of this month! And for those who disagree:

I am eagerly looking forward to take my responsibilities as CP, but before I take my seat, there are a few things that still have to happen or been said.

- You can still apply for the National Government Mattio I. For that, you have this weekend to think about it: the form stays open until Monday evening (April 9th). Spread your chances and don’t be afraid to try something new! Did you just start in eRepublik? Don’t hesitate: young players have a lot of chances to get a position as State Secretary! 😉

- Mattio I will be presented Monday evening. If you have questions about my government, my plans and my opinions, you can visit me on IRC: Tuesday, April 10th, the first “question time” wil be from 2😇0 until 22:30 (Dutch time). All questions and summaries of my answers will be published that night. (Don’t hesitate to query me!)

- One position has already been set and that is that of Vice President. Van Spijck and I have made each other the promise that no matter who wins, the other will be his vCP. Our political styles differ a lot and we hope to encourage discussion this way and also to apply to as many people as possible. Van Spijck: congratulations! 😃

- I also congratulate Van Spijck with these amazing elections. From my own experience, I know how frustrating it is not to be chosen for two months in a row, but these elections have brought us closer to each other as a person and as politicians. I expect to work together with him as my vCP very well!

- It is unfortunate, but this weekend I am very busy. If you want to contact me, feel free to send a PM and you will receive a friendly reaction Monday night or Tuesday morning. The good news: until April the 23rd, I have my vacacions so I will have plenty of time for my responsibilities as CP.
