Fellow citizens.
"I don't know who either of you are. I saw your names in a newspaper article though."
A humbling statement indeed. Also not overly surprising. My time in eCanada has been spent making the country work, not shouting for votes or waxing poetic in the news.
Who are you?
I'd like to start our journey with that simple statement eCanada. In order for us as a nation to move on we must start with an understanding of ourselves. Knowing this allows us to determine what we want out of eCanada and what we as individual citizens can offer the nation to move it forward.
Who am I? I am a project manager in RL so I bring a practical view to our nation. I believe we need to do a better job in defining what we are trying to do in this game. This is what I offer the nation. Practicality, planning, analysis and execution (of the plan...not the people).
Who are we? eCanada needs to regain our national identity. We've spent so long finding enmity within that we no longer see the ties that bind us. To strengthen our nation I will implement the following initiatives:
1. The return of the arts to eCanada. I will found The eCanadian Council for the Arts. Their mission will be to develop eCanadian culture. Articles, pictures, video, social media campaigns. The Council will help us find our national identity.
2. The return of bilingualism to eCanada. With a significant portion of our native population speaking en francais. I will commit to ensuring that all official eCanadian communication is in both official languages.
eCanada can be more than the sum of it's parts. We are the strength of Coda, we are the cunning of Rolo Tahmasee, we are the integrity of Christian Doe, we are the dedication of Marius Coroleone o7, we are the compassion of Kelly Mahoney, we are you too.
We are all eCanada...every one of us. We all make the nation great in our own way.
We just need to show that to each other.

Une affirmation une peu humiliante, mais pas très surprenante. Mon temps au eCanada a été passé à faire progresser le pays, et non à demander des votes, ou à publier des articles.
Qui est tu?
J’aimerais commencer avec une affirmation simple, eCanada. Pour pouvoir aller de l’avant en tant que nation, il faut commencer par se comprendre. Ceci nous permet de déterminer ce que nous voulons eCanada et ce que chaque individu peut faire pour aider le pays.
Qui suis-je? Je suis un gérant de projet dans la vie de tous les jour, donc j’amène un côté pratique à notre nation. Je crois que nous devons effectuer un meilleur travail afin de définir ce que nous tentons d’accomplir dans ce jeu. C’est ce que je peux offrir à la nation. Un côté pratique, de la planification, de l’analyse et de l’exécution (des plans, et non des citoyens).
Qui sommes-nous? eCanada doit regagner son identité nationale. Nous avons passé tellement de temps à se chercher des ennuis que nous ne voyons plus les points communs qui nous rattachent. Afin de renforcer notre nation, j’apporterai les initiatives suivantes:
1. Le retour des arts au eCanada. Je vais créer le Conseil Canadien des Arts. Sa mission sera de développer la culture eCanadienne. Articles, photos, vidéos, média sociaux. Le Conseil nous aidera à trouver notre identité nationale.
2. Le retour du bilinguisme au eCanada. Comme une bonne portion de notre population parle en français, je vais m’assurer que toutes les communicationsl eCanadiennes officielles soient faites dans les deux langages.
eCanada peut être plus que la somme de ses différentes parties. Nous sommes la force de Coda, la ruse de Rolo Tahmasee, l’intégrité de Christian Doe, le dévouement de Marius Coroleone o7, la compassion de Kelly Mahoney, et nous sommes vous également.
Nous sommes tous le eCanada...chacun de nous. Nous profitons tous à la nation à notre manière.
Il faut seulement le démontrer.

We were also the Union National. Helping to bring that back (or something like it) from PTO doom would be a worthwhile effort. Also, I have paints and paper I can donate to the arts council if they need supplies.

It's common practice now for MU slave pit managers to be eUS citizens for the bonus production. It's not a practice I like, but I understand their reasoning. In my opinion that doesn't make them any less eCanadian.
I noticed you didn't list any economic geniuses....
I kid, but our nation would really benefit from a sound long-term financial plan. I look forward to your article on How.

Silly Connor, I know who I am! I am st. Batman Wupenstein III, or so the voices told me.
Goran, it's too late for any economic plan. The admins have removed all possibility of player based economic control. It's over. The entire module needs a complete overhaul to balance production, raw materials, import/export, taxes and volume. This will require them re-implementing some old features and making others cost less gold, not to mention slashing almost everything else in the game.
I don't like the french language idea. Maybe its because I don't understand it x D
Actually, I'm not eCanadian I was just asked to join eCanada by a friend when I joined. Although I still have a strong affinity for eCanada.

@Hashspy : I dont think it would be a problem, since the idea is having everything in both language. All you would need to do is read the english version, no need to understand the french one.
