[Circle of Trust] Why the eUSA Should be VETOED Out of CoT

This article is not meant to take a position on whether or not it is in the best interests of the eUSA to be in CoT, but rather it is to make the argument as to why the eUSA as it stands now has violated the good faith it has been entrusted with as a trial member, and why it is the duty of one of the alliance members to issue a veto before the upcoming decision on whether or not to admit the eUSA as a full member.

Reason #1: The eUSA recently voted down an MPP with Indonesia. This is a direct violation of alliance rules which require that all alliance members maintain MPP’s with each other. The reason for this is quite simple, it would conflict with the desire of the government to fight on behalf of Brazil in South Africa, which is against the interests of Indonesia, which in turn is against the interests of CoT. This is essentially declaring a proxy war against the very alliance that the eUSA is supposed to be a part of. Brazil is not a member of CoT, and the loyalty to Brazil came before the loyalty to Indonesia, a CoT member, and the rest of the alliance who is fighting on its behalf.

Reason #2: The eUSA insists on maintaining MPP’s with EDEN nations such as Croatia(although not in a few months) & Albania, and fights on their behalf even if it conflicts with the interests of CoT. So far CoT seems to not care that they are more concerned with maintaining their old allies which have conflicting strategic objectives. This has been ongoing since the trial membership began and it only makes sense that all strategic ties with members of rival alliances should be severed, especially when they clearly interfere with the interests of CoT as a whole.

Reason #3: The eUSA government does not respect the rights of all its citizens and engages in a national policy of discrimination. They engage in ethnic discrimination and make jokes about war crimes in an attempt to insult people from other countries which they do not understand. They also bar anyone associated with government opposition parties from military service, which in turn hurts the eUSA and its ability to offer aid to the countries it is supposed to put at the top of its priority list. Elections are rigged to guarantee that the same people stay in power, essentially suspending any democratic process within the country. They bar participation in government to people they do not like, and expect everyone to obey meta-game rules which are by their very nature, discriminative against those who are not members of the ruling elite. In comparison, anyone from any country willing to come in and vote on their behalf to hurt the opposition is welcome. This is a hypocritical policy that is meant to advance their own agenda of maintaining a stranglehold on power.

The third reason might by itself be seen as not tangible enough to use to veto the eUS, but I believe by itself it serves as a sort of character witness which speaks to reinforce the validity of the first two, which by themselves are more than enough just cause to show that the eUSA has violated the terms of its probation, and would be more of a danger than a benefit to allow in to CoT as full members. In Closing, my proposal is simple. Issue an ultimatum that the eUSA stop fighting on behalf of nations like Croatia, Albania, Brazil, & others when it is against the interests of CoT members. If they refuse to do this, veto them. If they really want to be in CoT, they will acquiesce.
