eUK PEACE Factbooks Released

From one corner of the globe to the other, British emissaries today submitted their National Factbooks to the eUK Diplomatic Office - PEACE branch.

This project, initiated by myself 10 days ago upon being appointed Chief Envoy over the Office, has culminated early this week with a stack of all-encompassing reports, diplomatic assessments, of the assigned nations each ambassador lived in and observed. Information on the society, economy, military, diplomacy and history of each nation is documented in impressive detail - I was very pleased to see how much the team sunk their teeth into this entire initiative.

The Factbooks have been forwarded to the President's desk, and are now readily available to the public.

Disclaimer to citizens of non-PEACE communities. Be forewarned that various over-zealous types *may* read the following reports with indignant contempt (for no other reason than the 5 letters that stand in the title). We shall not be held accountable for this contempt. Nor shall we be responsible for any brutal, self-inflicted injuries occurring as a result of this contempt. Hungary

Preview. "My experience has been great in Hungary, summed up by one word; awesome. The people there have been very welcoming, up for a laugh and didn’t mind me being around at all....Non-government players, like sanya18 and Quicksilver, have been incredibly helpful. Both have contributed when I needed help or support and some of this report was founded on what they told me. Sanya guided me through the government, and Quicksilver has answer a hell of a lot of my questions; and encouraged laughter when I made a screw up, but hey, what are friends for?"

Preview. "The Indonesians are very kind and hospitable. They are helpful and willing to lend out a hand. This is true for many situations, such as their help to their allies on the battlefield. They have strong influence, and will use this to help out others....The society is largely military-orientated, with a large number of soldiers available to move anywhere around the world. With the many wars eIndonesia has been in, many citizens may be at a high level, while only being a citizen for a few months. Overall, the people of eIndonesia are very active."

This was created by then eMexican Preisdent Dhoo...Based on what experiences I have, the Mexicans are helpful, friendly, yet overall underrated. They have never been given a true opportunity to show their true value on the international stage of eRepublik."

Preview. "Russia looks to be fairly democratic, with constant controversy and a fairly lively media. The erespublica.ru forum isn't particularly active, however it isn't the only eRussian forum. I've been having some trouble dealing with all of them, but there are separate forums for the Duma and for several parties. The past conquests of eRussia certainly shape the nation, helping create a certain degree of paranoia, especially among the older citizens it appears....The Russians don't have a Ministry of Finance. To quote the current Emperor (President) "Минфин не нужен нафиг, этим всё равно Дума занимается." that is, "MoF isn't fucking needed, the Duma handles that anyway."

Preview. "The events of the past have made eTurkey more defensive of what they believe to be theirs, their land and their political rights. The Turkish are friendly people and try to take foreigners in as their own as much as they can... I have been treated like all others in Turkey, equality is big and I have been treated to the high standards of all others. I do owe a lot to the party presidents of the five main parties."

United Netherlands (UNL)

Preview. "From what I have seen they [UNL] all seem to respect each other and act like a close knit bunch. This has been evident since EDEN liberated and PTOed Belgium, the Belgian and Dutch citizens have come together to try to force ‘the unit’ out using the media... While I have been ambassador to the UNL I have been treated with respect and I haven’t met any citizens seeming hostile towards me or the eUK. The MoFA was kind and offered help should I need it and it seems like they like the eUK, so overall I have been treated with respect and kindness from everyone I have talked to."

Any additional Factbooks that may be submitted within the next day or two will be edited into this article. Obviously, not all PEACE nations have been included, due to some constraints in both our office and/or the administration of foreign governments.
