[CDoE] Tutorial: Your First Day in Erepublik - Part 2[Day 1676]

Day 1,676, 18:32 Published in Canada Canada by MCMXCIlI

Greetings fellow eCanucks,

If you have followed along with the first part of the tutorial, you are ready to continue on to the next step.

This part of the tutorial will deal with completing various missions that are available to you as a new user. Over time, you will be able to complete many, many different missions, but on your first day, you will only be able to complete a few.

Missions are small tasks that are presented to users. Completing these missions will earn you rewards. These rewards can vary from a few food or weapon items, experience, strength points, currency, or on the rare occasion, even Gold.

Chapter 6: Your first few missions

This is your first mission. The beautiful thing about this tutorial is that, if you have followed it correctly, you won't have to put forth any effort to complete this mission, as well as the next few. To complete this mission, simply click on it.

Once you have completed this mission, you will see this page. This page shows you that you have successfully completed the mission, and the reward you have been given for it.

After you have completed the first mission, you will see that a new mission has been presented to you. As mentioned, if you have followed the first part of the tutorial correctly, you won't need to work to complete this mission.

Like the first mission, a page will pop up to show you that you have completed the mission, and what reward you have received.

The missions below (in no particular order) are other missions that you will be able to complete without effort. In the event that you have found a mission that you have yet to complete, follow the instructions, and complete it.

Chapter 7: Upgrading your town hall

By now, you should have stumbled across a mission that tells you to upgrade your town hall. Your town hall is a building that, when upgraded, allows you to regenerate more health. In this case, you have to upgrade it to Quality 2. Doing so will allow you to regenerate 200 Health instead of your current 100.

Your first step is to click on the "My Places" tab on the blue navigation bar. Once there, click on "Health Buildings".

Once there you will see your Town Hall. To upgrade it, click on the blue arrow beside the blue + button. Once clicked, click on the green arrow that has appeared beside the town hall.

Once you have clicked it, you will see this page. This shows you what steps are needed to upgrade the town hall. If all 3 items have green checkmarks, you can then click the green button.

Congratulations! You now have a Q2 Town Hall. Now that you are done that, you can click on the mission to receive your reward.

Chapter 8: Military Units

Your next mission is to join a military unit. Military units give you many added bonuses. You can receive government supply drops to supply you with the currency needed to buy food and weapons to fight in battles. You also meet fellow eCanadians who can further aid you when you have questions. There are several military units to choose from. to view a list of them, click "See recommended Military Units"

As you can see, there are a lot of different Canadian Military Units to choose from. For the sake of this tutorial, we will choose the Canadian Armed Forces. You may join whichever MU you wish.

To join, click the green join button.

If you click on the mission, you will see that it is complete. The next part of your missions is to gain full membership into your military unit.

Click on the House button on the blue navigation bar. This will direct you to the main page where you will see what you need to do to become a member of your Military Unit.

To gain full membership, simply fight in any battle, and neutralize 10 enemies.

When you have done this, return to the main page and click the green button.

You can now click on the mission and finish it.

Upon returning to the main page once again, you will see that there is a new section where your Recruit Orders were. This is your Daily Orders, or DO's. These are set by your Commanding Officers, and are your battle instructions which are updated daily. Completing the Daily Orders will award you with an energy bar, and 5 bazooka parts.

Complete the Daily Orders, than return to the main page. Once you do, click the green button.

Finally, click the mission for your daily orders. You will have completed it, and will now receive your reward.

Chapter 9: Your last missions of the day

One of your last missions of the day involve ranking up to sergeant. If you wish completing this mission now, simply fight until you have ranked up. If not, then just wait until you achieve it normally.

When you have completed that mission, like the rest, click the mission and receive your reward.

This last Mission you will face today will familiarize you with the Market aspect of this game. You will need to buy some Items.

To access the market, hover your cursor over the Market button on the Blue Nav Bar, and select "marketplace".

Select food, and choose Q1 food.

Buy 10 of the cheapest food items on the list. To do so, type 10 into the field, and click buy.

Do the same for weapons, except instead of buying 10 items, buy 5.

Once done, click the mission, and claim your reward.

Chapter 10: Summary

By now, you will have completed your first day playing this game. This tutorial was designed to get you as far as possible, as quick as possible, while teaching you the basics thoroughly and quickly.

By the time you are finished this tutorial, you should have:

- Achieved Level 14
- Acquired 14 gold
- Acquired ~1200 CC (Country Currency)
- Achieved the Military Rank of Sergeant
- Become a member of a Military Unit or MU
- Upgraded your town hall to Q2
