***Call the Patriot a Traitor***

Despite the deceiving title, this article is actually my campaign article for congressional elections. Now before we jump to any conclusions, I want everyone to know that I will be taking a stance on the whole USWP issue, but try to keep an open mind to this situation


Stance on the War
Probably one of the biggest issues that will be on the congressional elections and the voters mind. Here's exactly what my stance on this war is. When we first got into the war, I was all for it. I believed it would help our economy a bit and it would be fun to go to war once again, a pleasure that the USA has not had enjoyed for about 3 months. The war went on, and it indeed was fun. the war went on and it "helped" the economy a little too much.

Things have changed in the war. land belongs to the same countries that they respectively started with. Obviously our economy is in bad shape as the dollar value decreases and markets are skyrocketing across the board. As of now, I am against continuing this war. Now, let me make a few things clear. I am against the war, but I'm still for the country. Now even though I believe the war should be ended right now, I never stopped fighting for my country. I am allowed to voice my opinion on our situation, but I will still be there for my country, to defend our land, whether it rightfully belongs to us or not. That being said, I am not encouraging anyone else to stop fighting, as losing this war will not benefit our country and our morale.

As far as the Swiss go, I'm all for their freedom, and I support whatever our country and ATLANTIS can do for them. So all in all, you may call me a traitor for not supporting this war, but think twice about how you throw that word around.


Uncle Sam's Experience for Congress
I'm running for congress in my wonderful state of Pennsylvania. Although I have lived in Texas and Florida for most of my elife, I actually reside IRL right outside of Philadelphia, which is why I'm returning to my home state in my congressional bid.

I have been in congress 6 times so far in my life on erepublik. Obviously that alone should prove I'm more than qualified to serve another term. I'm very in tune with the state of the economy, and can easily adjust to any situation as I've gone through the whole war destroyed economy times. In my last congressional terms, I have used both of my proposals, and so that proves my activity. I'm an easy person to work with. I listen to others and contribute ideas, and I've done this through out my political career.

If you want specific stances on economical issues, I'll instead give you this thought. I cannot do it alone, so my own ideas are not necessarily the right answer. In congress you vote on issues, so it's best if all of us work together on these issues, especially on the forums. since I'm an easy person to work with, it won't just be making policy, but all of us, and I'll be making contributions in every proposal, not just my own.

As a leading member of the political community, Don't deny the country an active, involved and intelligent congressman. Vote Uncle Sam for Congress in PA!


In Conclusion
You may be wondering why I put together a congressional campaign and this stance on the war and, in effect, the USWP in the same article. Well, there is method to my madness. look at our political landscape, we have the USWP, the largest party who's opposing the war, and we have every other party, that has yet to really take a stance on things. Just like myself, you have to consider the fact that the USWP may be against the war, but they are still for the country.

We cannot move forward by fighting against each other, especially in politic. We only succeed by fighting along side each other, this is true both in politics and on the battle field. From what I see, both sides of this political argument are at fault, it's time for both sides to move away from that though and time to start working together as a country. In the past that's is what made us strong, and right now, this conflict is what's making us weak. There may be a great deal of tension between parties, but we're all UNITED under one country, Lets act that way! What better proof of this than in congress with people from different parties working together to benefit the country and not their own party?
