[Boh] Should Ireland Be Our Bros?

Day 2,032, 15:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Bohemond4

Dear friends, readers and Waynekerr,

Ireland are our neighbours, and often punching bag, to the West of our nation. Currently, they are wiped and occupied by us, but ususally, they have 6 regions and sometimes lay claim to a seventh, one which we deny them and usually leads us to smacking them - again.

However, the history teaches us that things were not always so, that at one stage we were friends even, and I believe that this can be a stage we can return to, and that it would be more beneficial for our two nations.

Friends?
What does being friends grant us, as a nation, well in the first place it grants us a solid ally right on our Western border who can aid us in conflicts. As seen in the eFalklands War, we suffered from their attack opening a two front war.

As friends, we would have a secured front in wartime, and, an ally to help us launch invasions across the seas. Our nations are not the strongest, and we often waste our strength fighting each other all the time, without that constant bickering, we could do a lot more together.

Enemies?
What real problem do we get fighting one another? The obvious answer is True Patriot medals, but I ask you, where else could one get a medal? Well, against any of the other nations surrounding our glorious nation. So, why else should we fight? For real life nationalist reasons? Well, those are all well and good, but too often it is pointless and turns ugly.

Finally, economically, we can gain fruits elsewhere from other nations, including, but not limited to, Belgium and, Canada has more bonuses and is also another traditional enemy, though one with less positive ties to us than Ireland.

Being in an alliance with each other is a way to increase our combined power and reach over this tiny corner of the eworld without worrying about British paras in Dublin or the paddies invading Leeds.

tl;dr? bros is better than hoes

Thanks for reading!
