Dear TACO remnants, friends, readers the eUK

This is my personal response to accusations of cheating based on the loss of 5 votes over the congress elections.

TACO attempts to force a false confession from Bohemond4

I intend to apply some logic to the recent situation. Firstly, it has been claimed we used Multi accounts to vote for TUP, I would say this is fallacious. It has never been a party policy to run Multi accounts, even when it helps us. A citizen known as Sir Scott Williamson was renowned for using multis growing TUP dramatically at one time when he was a member. We removed him for this. A clear example of taking a firm line on cheating.

Now if we apply some more logic, one can see that we stand nothing to gain from using multi's and being caught by it. Surely we would have more intelligence? Right? RIGHT? Perhaps, and this is where it gets interesting, there was in fact multi accounts used by others to frame our party. I believe this accusation was raised over the last few months by other parties.

Moving on, lets look a the third argument raised for why we are cheaters: over 70% turnout for our party. And this has been consistent. Perhaps it merely indicates and ability to turnout the voters, increase our share and do well? The Unity Party has recently dropped to nearly 200 members and halted there. This is our active core, the same can be seen in all established parties. ESO levelled out at 65, PCP at 45 and UKRP at 75. UKPP likewise at 75 members. Now thinking about this being our active core, does it make sense that we might get 150-170 votes regularly? That we have enough voters turned out to vote? I would say it surely does.

Therefore through a process of analysing and some satire I have successfully refuted the TUP allegations.

Well, I am fairly certain me or people on my leading team in New Era haven't made such accusations, and like your said, TACO is but remnants.

You made a generalization placing me and some two hundred other people in a category which you decided to slander because of the actions of some ~4-5 people.

I suppose these people are the main targets of your article.. Neither of them are in New Era, or the RDP. Neither of them hold any leadership positions within said parties.

If you're going to make an article regarding the actions of a select few people, specify the targets of your article accurately, instead of alienating some ~200 people who simply wish for this chaos within the political landscape to end.

I am sorry, Crusty, I had missed that article. I can assure you, however, that I wont tolerate it from either side of the political spectrum. I am not trying to alienate Bohemond or anyone else with my comments, however, these are internal problems that need to be deal with by party leaders in order to ensure a better community, and giving it national attention such as in this instance only fuels the chaos by giving those who seek aggravation a reason to act.

no one can/should stifle peoples opinions, Sven voiced his and he has the right to do so. The New Era Executive is not and never was discussing this issue yet people continue to sling New Era's name out there, this is the real problem. New Era executive is different from the past ones, time for the rest of the eUK to catch up...

There's a difference between an opinion and an accusation. 'TUP sucks' is an opinion. 'TUP uses multis' is an accusation. Sven's article was an accusation with no proof.

Of course, Sven can post whatever he wants. The problem is when you have players like Dapper or BA or in this case Sven, their actions will always be taken (rightly or wrongly) as the actions of NE, simply because they are or have been so closely tied to its leadership. I'm sure if Keers or Talon posted a political article, people would treat it as TUP's stance, for the same reason. This completely undermines the work of players like ChewChewShoe in trying to improve NE's image and stop the constant fighting.

I agree this article probably isn't helping, but we weren't the instigators this time.

It seems that when someone from TUP (Bohemond4) claims accusations against TUP are false and says TACO is wrong, the PP from NE says TACO is only remnants but think all from NE and friends are blamed.
I think there is only logic in that when TACO is still there but hiding in the shadows.
When TACO is not there (because NE is changed & old TACO leaders gone or stopped), I see nothing wrong in this article.

Why would you bother to write this? It just legitimizes the discourse. If the UK really wants to move away from the constant bickering people really need to learn just to let things go and not rise to the bait.
