Hello, my name is Betafoxtrot and I’m running for CP for the month of January, below is the first of my articles in the run up to the election, today's article is the announcement!
To start with, a little bit of background on me. I am a member of Every Single One who I shall be running under and I’m a very domestic focused player which, I think, will bring some fresh ideas to the table. I’ve spent most of my tenure in the game within the Ministry of Home Affairs, which I was the minister of under Talon Karrde for two consecutive months where I released many articles – most of which were guides which you can see here, conducted a nationwide census where I messaged the entire eUK to try and get some numbers on our active population and what they like to do and tried to drive some of the activity of the government away from the forums and into the game.
Why should vote for me you ask? I’ve been thinking about doing so for a couple of months but haven’t had the time to dedicate to being President. For the first month of 2013 however I am fully prepared to work my hardest for the good of the eUK! This last month I’ve not been involved anywhere magisterially other than fixing up some graphics for the MoHA so I’ve had some time to compose my thoughts and take some time to myself to ensure I’m not burnt out any time soon. Before that, as I said above, I was the Minister of Home Affairs for two months which I believe were my two best months since I started playing all that time ago. In the current circumstances I believe my domestic experience is very important. Given what has happened the past month I think it’s time more effort was put towards you, the citizens of this great country.
And so, onto some tasters for what is coming up in my next couple of articles!
One of the hottest topics at the moment is the forums. Recently there has been a bit of a change to the administration of it which I whole heartedly welcome. It’s always nice to start afresh and whether you agree with the people not using the forums or not, something had to change in order to stop people leaving the forums and widening this divide.
While Minister of Home Affairs, I spent most of my time on guide writing and mentoring. I’ve always concentrated more on new players rather than the established ones as they will hopefully be the next “batch” of established players. In other words, retention is my #1 policy this month and every month for myself. As such, more things need to be provided in game for new players to get the involved and to continue playing.
War is central to this game and I’d like very much for there to be some during my tenure. Nothing improves intention like a good old scrap! Not only this, but it got more people involved with the Ministry of Defence which sees its fair share of new players rise through the ranks.
As I said, like the direction the MoLA has been going now and I’d like to take that as an example to get as many congressmen involved as possible. Obviously policies are important too which is why I’m writing this. In order to get all sides input into such things I’d like to see formal policy debates on all issues at both a party level with representatives and PP’s from parties coming together before presenting it to the general public to fine tune things and have a set of policies the whole country can be proud of having.
Finally, it’s about time we sorted out this CS procedure out once and for all. There’s no telling what the right way of doing things is so let’s fix that!

@Orinoco Beta is more TUP than ESO, when I was in ESO and he was PP he ignored party rules to give support to the TUP CP candidate

i tend to be beta's biggest critic, however even i can see that beta can do more for the uk both home and abroad than other members. We need someone new to come in and fix the international problems that have been causes over this term.
When we have allainces like COT refusing to help us and friendships build over time now on brink of collaspe like ireland. Surely we can all see the need for change.

you should think about some alfa these days, they're better than betas.
i have not written anywhere that i dislike Beta in fact i think he is a decent fellow, im just not to keen on ESO. The fact im voting at all is because of Beta, anybody else and i would not have done so.
