To Begin.

I would firstly like to thank Wilhelm Gunter of the CPF for his trust in me and supporting me for a run at Party Leader of CPF. I am happy to bring some fresh ideas and life into a party which was once the dominant force in eCanada for months.

With that, as you may have noticed, two things have instantly changed upon my election.

New Party Name and Image.

The party will now be referred to as Teneo Fidelis Dignitas.
It is Latin for "To keep truth and dignity" and, purposely, a remembrance of one of the founding fathers of the new CPF, Tyler F Durden who passed away last year.

More than that. TFD is meant to be above meaningless tags, titles and judgments which, for the most part, don't affect game play.

It is simply a party of maturity, practicality and efficiency.
I would ask that all members who join respect each other and the other players and abide by the precept of speaking the truth and acting with dignity.

New Forum and Graphics

I'd first like to do another shout out to anyone willing to help come up with a banner for our forum, and perhaps design a logo as well. The banner is top priority and I am willing to pay a few GOLD for any help.

I hope it looks good and functions well. I take pride in making the best forum in eCanada for parties and masking is done within hours, you can try it out and Party Secretary will mask you!

We welcome members to join and visitors to register and keep in touch.

I have reached out to other Party Leaders and will be joining their forums/IRC channels in the near future to begin/continue dialogue.

Parliamentary Elections

Given the fact that we are not a Top 5 Party, we look to other parties to run our candidates for us. I have been in talks with a couple parties already and will probably take advantage of both offers.

I myself will either run in Alberta and Ontario, given that I have spent the most time there in eRepublik. I am sure that some of the other TFD members will want to run.

Definitely expect weekly article to make a return. Shenanigans from the party are a must. Lots of news and info. And Moose Head brew from the old days! Check out our official organization

Bottom Line

We are a party looking for active and loyal members that would like to contribute to Canada in a meaningful way.

We aren't here for the lulz, or to run Canada like a military, or to bitch at the government, or to protest anglophone dominance...or whatever else you think of.

We ARE here because in order to get stuff done, you have to sometimes roll up your sleeves, tighten the belt and get to work...throwing out the stuff you don't need and creating things that will work.

Its all about practicality and functionality. Canada has a low population in an ever changing game like eRepublik. That requires unity, stability and cutting down on extras that are NOT effective. The party will therefore serve as a platform for various voices to be heard, where an effective platform can be created and maintained and where the government will find a sober second thought in an age where competing opinions on various nonsense are incessant.

Anyways, that is the end of my inauguration speech.

I hope to provide a respectful, useful and active party to the political scene and expect others to act the same. No bull, no trolls, no name-calling and whining, just straight up debate and discussion on what works for Canada.

On that bombshell, I shall be off.
