[Aus FA] Getting Started

Hi kids!

Well… We have changing seasons, a new administration and I'm new. To be honest a little tattered and frayed around the edge but I'm new to most of you. Anyhoo, I'd like to say that the last couple weeks have been something else. It's probably a good thing that I've taken the slow track and have filled the position of foreign affairs minister before I jump right into CP. That's a joke son!

But seriously, let me bore you with a few statistics and the I'll explain what's going on in FA land. Nothing drastic I assure you. TWs are planned to continue for that little extra jingle in your pocket. A few tweaks and expansions are being explored. Feel free to jump ahead if in a hurry.




What I’ve Done So Far

> 33 countries have been contacted.
- Some had both CP and Dictator.
- A few only the CP.
- Two had someone else in charge.
> 22 countries have responded, all favorable.
- 5 responded directly to Rusty.
- The rest responded to my “Greeting” PM.
> I was contacted by the Swiss Ambassador.

These are just formality but set the tone for upcoming meetings.





What’s In The Works

Rusty has jumped right in and is working to continue our current MPP stack. For now the Training War with South Africa is still something we would like to see continued. There are discussions to consider taking the TW elsewhere. There are also some new MPPs that will be considered. Congress will be kept in the loop, Rusty desires to hear what’s best for Australia. We will also be staying in close contact with our friends in Nebula.

Unfortunately that’s all the detail I can go into at present. Everything is in the “What do you think?” stage so details are not something to openly discuss. As soon as things are hammered out either Rusty or I will tell all so as to keep everyone informed.

A Final Word

At the moment I’m not seeking a deputy, Rusty is taking point and I’ll be there to back him up. However, if you are wanting to get involved, learn a new job and especially if you enjoy meeting new people by all means PM me.
