{Aus DoFA} MPPs: Japan and Chile

G'day eAussie's,

As expected, in these last days we have moved to find out about MPP treaties, considering the will of the Senate. There was already some contacts during the event of Resource Wars, followed hours of confirmations combining with the will of the majority in the Senate.

Japan

Stable friends, brothers of this (NEBULA) and past alliances, and finally excellent collaborators in the just concluded Resource Wars. It promises to renew a long fruitful cooperation relationship for both countries make it possible to renew this MPP.

Chile

Relations with this country in the past were a bit difficult. But we must consider that times change, and is now a long time that there are no conflicts with Chile. Even with them, there was an initial cooperation in these Resource Wars, which ended in advance in order to give more chances to obtain useful bonus for both the countries. There were no problems of any kind and there is all the willingness on both sides to consolidate this peace relationship. A change which finds favor with the Senate of both nations that leads us to be able to sign this MPP too.

The intention is to sign some MPP with countries that can guarantee the security of our borders. But we don't want to preclude any possibility of action for the next term. The unusual setup of these agreements at the end of the month, caused by the event, will involve the next government more than the current one. But also we can't wait so long because any lack of security can lead to problems in our country.

It has been a long long time coming, but hopefully the horrible past eChile and eAustralia once had is just that, the past. Sam, you and your friends have always been their for us for the past year and half. This I will support in the hope it is the final chapter of the new future between our two nations.

This is truly an historic day, celebrating the great peace and friendship which is being enjoyed, not only between our two nations, but within the region as a whole. I hope there are even greater things to come.
