[ATO] My Promise to NE Members & Why I am up for NE PP.

Citizens of the eUK and NE Party Members,

I am writing today to inform of the reasons why I am running for NE PP.

Firstly, I do not do this as an individual, nor as a PTO operative. I shall make this absolutely clear: I shall do my utmost to work with Dego, Super LLama, Goku, and all those disenfranchised by NE’s elites, and to work with the actual PP of NE as per their primary, and shall ensure that NE’s Congress list is constituted of their own choice members after government approval (the same rules every party is subject to) and I shall do NOTHING to interfere with NE Politics or infrastructure. I shall do all in my power to ensure that NE as it is today, is preserved.

If the NE leadership permits me to, I shall be in contact with all their members making it clear that I am not PP, and that I shall not be included in any discussions or exercise any influence in any shape or form. My goal is for NE to not even realise I’m there, and I have already touched base with several NE members to begin ensuring they are represented.

Now, you may be wondering why it is I have been asked to run for PP.

President Acroc’s ATO procedures, which he made clear to everyone and for which he received a mandate, stipulated that PP primaries should be held by all parties, and if a party wishes to put forward a candidate who cannot be trusted by the Congress or the Executive, the party in question will either provide an alternative or have someone placed to hold their buttons for them.

The President and Congress have therefore asked me to hold the buttons, as they feel NE’s proposed candidates cannot be trusted to block foreign PTO agents from running for Congress.

I was selected as someone who is seen as being fair, impartial and affable towards NE.

I can fully appreciate why this may be hard to swallow, but I cannot stress enough my eagerness to preserve NE’s democratic rights. I expect some will brand me a PTO’er, or a malignant government agent - but if it means anything to NE’s leadership, over the debates surrounding ATO I have always given NE the benefit of the doubt, and have always encouraged people to resolve their differences through cooperation and negotiation, and was always extremely reluctant to resort to draconian methods of dealing with the risk that Congress, the CP and sectors of the public feel that certain elements of NE’s leadership may pose to the eUK and it’s ATO efforts.

Anyone who has participated in ATO discussions can attest to that.

It may seem odd that that is the case based on some of the personal attacks that have been raised against me over the years, but I have for a long time been triumphing democratic principles in the eUK and have always been concerned with making sure all parties are treated fairly.

As such, despite perhaps a few ironic or off the cuff remarks, I have avoided all arguments and trolling surrounding NE, and during my last term as President NE and it’s leadership were content with my performance, as I communicated with their PP and received no complaints or impeachment hearings.

This is not something that I am excited or pleased to be doing, and I am disappointed that people’s trust has been broken on so many occasions that the eUK and it’s elected representatives are having to resort to such measures, and since publishing that article various individuals from the party on question have moved to (at least appear) to be threatening other parties. Despite such antagonism I hope that this profile encourages NE that my aim to uphold their rights is genuine.

I’m not a TUP puppet or a hostile PTO agent against NE. I have taken up this task simply because there a few people in the current climate who would undertake it and not aim to destroy NE. My intention is to allow them to thrive and to encourage their members to be as involved as possible.

Dapper and BigAnt have already claimed I (as well as other candidates from inside and outside their party) am a TUP PTO, citing outdated wiki pages to back it up. This is far from the truth (I have been in PCP for nearly 8 months and been managing my own MU for even longer) I do not represent TUP or any party, but the Government and Congress. An article affirming this will be released from the MoHA shortly.



To summarise;

- Congress & the Executive has asked me to run, as an impartial and trustworthy candidate for NE PP.

- I shall do everything I can to make sure NE is treated fairly and remains represented and functioning however they wish.

- I shall do nothing to interfere in NE or its politics, and shall make it clear to all members that their chosen representative (from their primary) remains their PP.

- My role will only be to make sure that NE does not run any suspected PTO agents for Congress.

If NE do not believe what I say now; and in the current climate I cannot blame them, hopefully they will believe me in a month.
