~Atlantis: The Lesser of Two Evils~

It is only in recent events that I have begun to notice a huge difference between Atlantis and Peace. In case those who are reading did not know, a talk of peace, a talk of negotiations, was to be held this morning, Sunday the 11th. Topics that were going to be discussed were anything that the two alliances wanted to talk about, including wars that are going on in South America, Europe, and Asia.

Around two days ago, though, Germany, along with a great deal of Peace members, started resistance wars in Sweden as an act of aggression against not only Sweden, but all of Atlantis, seeing as Atlantis countries shortly after became heavily involved in the war as well.

The meeting for negotiations was set up a week or two ago. Peace's heavy involvement in the German resistance wars was a diplomatically immature and disrespectful move. Why would these events take place when Peace knows that a discussion was going to take place the next day?

One thing has become obvious - Peace can't get anything done without war being the solution. War is NOT always the solution, contrary to popular Peace belief. If you want Germany to love you and get its regions back, you can simply ask. Sure, you've asked Sweden before, but what about Atlantis? Personally, I, during my two months as president and current month as Secretary of State, have received only one PM asking me to talk about things, and that was recently with regard to the Iranian wars. Once, in 70 days, was I approached by a member of Peace trying to seek out a reasonable solution. Elvea never contacted me. She just propose peace. N3m0 never contacted me, he just spoke out against me in his articles. Sparta Kratos never contacted me, he just declared war on Argentina following N3m0. DKN never contacted me, he just formulated an all-out war against Sweden with the help of Peace. I'll admit that Arthk of Portugal has contacted me in the past as well, in an attempt to end the Portuguese war with America. Peace, please, just realize that when you try and talk to us, like what was planned for today, we react much more respectfully and kindly than when you just jump into things without prior notification or negotiation. In both the cases of Portugal and Iran, the US has not made aggressive moves. My attempts to stop the Argentinian war was disrupted by Indonesia's and Brazil's lack of willingness to negotiate with me.

Peace, you seem to always be the instigators. Sure, Romania attacks Russia, but what's the difference between Romania-Russia and Iran-India/China? Both are situations in which countries are attacking with little prior justification (at least Romania wrote articles explaining their wars) for conquest, yet Romania gets attacked for being the bullies of Erepublik. Romania isn't the bully of erep, Peace is. Arthk, Amirpatapon, Gladdos, I respect all of you for talking things out with me, personally, instead of just being aggressive. Arthk was against the Portuguese-American war. Amirpatapon is against the Iran-South Korean war. Gladdos is against almost any modern wars. I respect all of these decisions, but I wish that your mentalities had more of an influence on the rest of Peace.

Atlantis is not the same way as Peace. We do not do things just because we can't talk them out. We do not take forever to create negotiations. In the case of France and Switzerland, I ask, how can you argue "But we were talking about it!" when V1 was out for more than a month?

Peace needs to learn one golden rule - the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
