[Asgard HQ] Updates and New Developments

Congress Elections
Well Congress elections have went a little questionable for Asgard this month. Norway has a couple members elected who are questioned as possible PTOers but should not be able to hold any majority vote, bad part is they can give away citizenship passes. We cannot be sure yet and accuse anyone but lets just hope for the best! Swedish Congress elections went extremely well this term! What do you mean they didn't have Congress elections!? Well that was HQ's plans all along! Sweden wanted to be wiped because of PTO threats so thank you Lithuania for doing something right for once. I have not heard anything bad coming from Finland's elections so I believe everything went well there. Congrats to all our new Congress Members and I want to wish you all good luck this term!



Peace With the UK
I met a few days ago with the CP of the UK and proposed a possible NAP between the UK and Norway. Should this be able to be signed this would be historic in our relations. I tried negotiating a NAP a while back during my Presidency while their current CP was the MoFA back then and he told me to come back when we had more to bargain with. Luckily with the help of our allies we have recently pushed our way into the UK and shown them that the time of their safe bonus's in Norway and Sweden are over and that we are open to working with them rather than against. Their CP seemed very receptive of the idea and we should be meeting later this week to discuss any possibility of a NAP happening. I look forward to continuing these talks for the best interests of both factions involved.



Asgard MU
A little while ago I talked to you all about the creation of an Asgard MU to better coordinate our troops and strength that will help us have a greater impact on the battlefield for ourselves and for our allies. Should this come to happen we will be the only official alliance with a common MU. Sadly do to the recent AS by Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) we had to push all talks about our MU under the table but now that we have dealt with the invaders we will now be resuming action on our MU and I look forward to its creation in the near future.



New Alliances
We have recently seen the creation of Aurora (Pro Sirius) and LETO (Pro Asteria.) LETO is a sub alliance of Asteria while Aurora will become its own independant alliance but will still have strong affiliations with Sirius. We have signed a pact with Asteria therefore it extends to LETO as well so we look forward to working with the members of LETO. Unlike LETO, Asgard remains an independent and sovereign alliance who handles all aspects of its own military, economics and foreign affairs. I recently read an article published in the Germark media about the creation of Aurora and they made mention of tensions with Asgard. I could not find the article anymore but let it be assured Asgard has no intentions of unstable relations with Germark and we do not wish to become a pawn in a satellite war fought on Poland's wishes.
