[ARAMEC4POTUS] Walking the Walk

num·skull [nuhm-skuhl] noun
1. a dull-witted or stupid person; dolt.

It was Artela's article that ultimately made me decide to return.

I think it's to blow this scene.
Get everybody and the stuff together.
OK.

Let's jam.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, You All Called It
Now onto why I gave up giving up. Artela spoke to virtually exactly what I spoke to. And what she said was important.
"It is time that the brightest and best of the newer players that are around get the chance to aspire to great things and to take to the wing and prove they can soar.

So, here is my invitation to Israel to do the same as me - to step back and be content with former glories, and to help promote the up and coming new players from the top five parties."

After speaking with her and apologising to her about any stones I may have cast, I came to realize something about a person I had never really known: she genuinely does care. In Artela is a person who understands what the right thing is, and truly works for the betterment and enjoyment of everyone in this game. She's done the job before, and she's done it well. And she knows when to hold them and fold them, and this is her move.

She is paving the way for a new game.

And here I am: still obviously full of interest, still unable to truly give up, and still wanting that better game and better experience that Artela spoke to so simply with fewer words than I would ever be able to do. As another very good friend of mine put it, "If you want to talk the talk... walk the walk."

So this is me, ladies and gentleman, taking a fucking walk.

I'm running for POTUS.

The Rallying Cry
This game sucks. Blah, blah, blah. We all know it. And you know what I know? I know fun. My three domineering qualities are my writing, my event planning, and making lists. The first two have already been spoken for, so let's look at the third a little.

1. We Need A Baby Boom
I'm talking external advertising. I'm talking about congressionally funded recruited. I'm talking a full, nationalized effort to get people into the game and rebuild our community while we have this three months of peace.

2. We Need Fun
Taxes, censures, boring stuff. I promise you weekly events that will rival the things Admin gives us. I promise you forum games and IRC competitions, scavenger hunts and article opportunities. I'm really freaking good at it, okay?

3. We Need Experience
And I don't just mean experienced players. I am the product of those around me, a smarter and better man because I listen to others advice. But I also know that we must, as Artela and others have said, pass that advice down to our newer players, our younger generations. I plan to reorganize the White House in a way that hasn't been done in a long while. And with that, I come to the fourth and final point...

4. We Need Change
Something's gotta give, folks. We're at a turning point. We recognize our jaded nature, our bitter nostalgia. It's time to find a new America, and race for it. So long as this game remains, I will work to make it as fun and as engaging as you could ever want it.

I'm putting my money where my mouth is, America.

It's time for all of us to do the same.
