[Announcement]Erepublik Labs Sold

May 13th, 2010 Bucharest, Romania - Today, in a stunning move, Facebook, one of the World's leading Social Networks, has bought Erepublik Labs based in Romania. CEO Mark Zuckerberg released a short statement regarding the purchase.

"We've been eyeing Erep Labs for some time now, working in conjunction with their online Social Gaming. They've taught us about income generation through premium offers, and we hope their new V2 platform, which will remind most of you of Mafia Wars with a few graphics will integrate nicely into the next version of Facebook. We look to partner with Erepublik and all of its ventures."

Not surprisingly, Erepublik has announced for the last few months that their overall system of social strategy was moving from a once per day requirement to a style very similiar to, and often found in Facebook games. In their next release, you'll be able to level your character every 45 minutes, as opposed to the caste system built around experience which they had been using for the previous two years.

Facebook generates more than 300 million dollars per year in revenue, and with the new expansion soon hopes to increase that substantially.

George Lemnaru and Alexis Bonte, the two Founders of Erepublik, could not be reached for comment.

This is just a joke article. Please do not take it as anything more. >.>
