[Annoucement] ~ BigAnt/Angella Williams Presidency bid
I want to announce my candidacy for CP on the 5th July.
Having been Country president on three occasions in the past I know what is instore for me. With that I began writing up some manifestos and brainstorming ideas on what I thought would be the best direction for the UK to take for summer 2014. At this stage I want to announce one part of my Cabinet, Angela Williams will be my Vice President if we are successful. AW has proven again this month that he has activity, drive and knows the game inside out. He will be a huge additional to any government and I’m delighted he has agreed to work with me.
So recently all hell has broken loose, not just in the UK but also on the international scene. Argentina and Canada are slowly wiping us from the map. Sirius had a terrible month and lost another full member. One thing is for sure things need to change to improve our position. As CP I will talk to our fellow Allies to put pressure on Sirius HQ to attract new members at the moment we have no creativity, no ideas. If we fail to improve I WILL offer the UK a Referendum vote on our membership of Sirius. One thing is for sure, opinion is mixed and if the alliance stagnation continues I think you have the right to HAVE A SAY. I also have a few ideas to freshen up and hopefully strengthen our military position. We need to freshen up our military approach, our enemies are getting stronger and we need to maximise our performance to stand any chance in the coming months.
One major problem this month has been a distinct lack of activity from our CP and other areas of government. A few areas of weakness have been Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Home Affairs have been poor this month, they has been no information for our new and existing players. This cannot continue, Communication and giving individuals information is power. Under my tenure I will put experience in this area and support that with young enthusiastic up and coming talent.
Foreign Affairs also needs to be more transparent. We need articles, we have so many wars and tactics. People get lost, they lose track.. they go on holiday they have a life. It can become confusing so again the key point is communication.
Overall I want a super active month, we need it. We face being wiped and one thing is for sure inexperience and inactivity will not get us back on the map. Everyday we are without our bonus, our players struggle to make tanks, to fight.. to survive. Wipes are never good for countries, you lose players, players go inactive and in our fragile state we mustn't allow this to happen. I will be looking to put together a very experienced team, putting differences aside, my aim as CP then and now has always been putting UK first and giving my 100%. Not every CP can say that.

As PP of TUP your communication to the party has been non-existant, despite endless promises before the election. Every promise you made (democracy, activity, a chance for new and young party members to get involved etc, you've broken.
I now see that you're making exactly the same promises while running for CP, and they look very hollow. Why should anyone trust what you say?
He is hardly a PP of TUP... At most, he is the PP of certain citizens that have nothing to do with what Unity stands for (i.e. Vendetta).
I see you've dropped the "BA is for war!" now that you've been called out on it.
At the end of the day, as per, you talk big but you let yourself down. I remember your article about how you were back to deal in respect and whatnot which lasted not very long at all, before it was deleted and you went back to shouting the usual insults and spin. I remember your promise that by taking the reins of TUP you'd show what they'd been doing wrong for so many months, expand a list to include loyal party members who had lost out due to elitism. Instead, you caved in and gave the places to people allied only to you, save until the 8th place, one you must've known unlikely to be elected with your proposed list.
I'm not angry, or annoyed or anything like that, this is just a game and at the end of the day we're all trying to get our kicks out of it. I guess I'm mostly just disappointed for various reasons, probably because I feel daft being duped so often. At any rate, you stand a good chance of winning, especially by playing politik and securing a strong middle ground party vote by offering AW vCP, helping eliminate competition and other candidates getting that support. Of course, you have to question how much of Team Rocket's vote is loyal to them, rather than a protest against your list.
Once again, the ball is in your court. It's like a serve from Djokivic, very poetic as there's a strong Serbian influence in your rise to the top this time, one I don't expect you to return but hope you do. We'll see, I don't think you've given us much to hope for though.

You belong to a party that has, historically, challenged the prevalence of elites in the eUK. That's a good thing, I never agreed with the methods but I think you're bang on in those beliefs. But now that you ARE the elites, and one of your own is in the running for the top job, you just want to dismiss criticism?
