Good afternoon Hungary,

Yes, this is an article from the Romanian president. Yes, you can consider it propaganda, but that doesn't make the ideas underlined below less true - as a principle, I always read the article before reading who wrote it.

For those of you that are new (although I doubt there's still someone in Hungary that doesn't know the story), Romania conquered almost all the hungarian territories and kept them under occupation for a few months, until a hungarian baby-boom started as a result of the "Romania took our land" tagline; followed by an extremely well coordinated growth, it led to Hungary being a new world power and probably the strongest country in the eWorld.

The problem with this type of growth, which I always considered to be unhealthy, is that most of the hungarian players (and I do mean the average, 10 strength captain/colonel) joined the game with the "i-am-here-to-hate-romania" idea, and acted accordingly in the last months. Basically, all your actions were centered around deleting Romania off the map. Feherlo was elected president (mostly) because he wanted to erase Romania. He HAD to attack us because that's what most of the hungarian population wanted. He HAD to retreat Transilvania and the rest of the romanian teritorries because your population would fight there, neglecting the strategic importance of Heilongjiang. This was more of a bull-fight, with your leadership (half-a-year back) and afterwards us (in the last month) waiving the red flag, and your bulls (which were especially grew and trained for that) aiming right to it and ignoring everything else.

Meanwhile, small, unimportant things happened in the world for the average hungarian. Slovenia was erased, freeing Croatia from any secondary fights. Spain and Poland marched undisturbed through France and Germany, conquering territory after teritory and province after province, undisturbed by the "world power" that dreamed just "Transilvania, Hungary". Yes, we know, they were not your direct allies, but both were countries that helped you during the US fights and now were left all alone, both military and MPPs. Yesterday, you also gave up on Bulgaria, a country that helped you and trusted you 100%, which you forced (uhm, "adviced&quot😉 to open 10 MPPs with us and 13 with Greece just to help you conquer...you guessed, Romania. Imagine how the average slovenian/french/german/bulgarian player feels now, and how willing to help you they will be in the future.

And yes, you conquered Transilvania, what a great victory that was. Everybody was cheering, the romanian-hating crowd was pleased. Where are you now from that point ? With Romania and Croatia at your gates, together with all the MPPs, with US playing near Heilongjiang, and with Spain and Poland just a few swaps away. Your allies are getting fewer and fewer each week, and angrier on your fixation with Romania. Where will you be in one month's time, if you continue this way ? I guess we'll be here to see.

"Yeah, whatever, just come and we'll beat you all", "You don't have the balls to do it" - I can already read your comments. Maybe we don't have the balls (or maybe this is not a game that's about who has balls), but we certainly have the brain 🙂.

Purpose of this article ? eRepublik would be a boring place with the balance of power strongly shifted on one side. Try to get over your romanian fixation and start playing this game FOR Hungary, not against Romania. We learned from our mistakes almost a year back and we are growing stronger every day, because our growth was FOR Romania, not for some illusion of deleting some country off the map.

That's what this game is all about.
