[AMP] I'm feeling the AMPs, are you?

Day 1,843, 06:50 Published in USA USA by emdoublegee

Greetings everyone! Now that the POTUS elections have come and gone, it's coming up on another round of Party President elections! To start off this article I want to say how awesome it has been this month serving as the AMP Party President. I've got to work with a bunch of great people, see some new players start making their mark, and see some cool things started! Since this term is coming towards a close I wanted to make sure everyone could see how much hard work these guys put in. Serving on the round table is often a thankless job, but not as long as I can help it!

Chief of Staff
I don't know what I would have done without the help of my chief of staff George S. Patton Jr. and his deputy Dokjon. These guys kept the RT on task, they kept me on task, and they kept coming up with innovative ideas to help make this party something special.

Communications
We had some brand new guys to the round table running comm this month in The Ninth Doctor (formerly ghost killah) and Mr. Swagg and I think they did a stellar job. Thanks for getting out all of the info to the party, and especially for getting the AMP Media Club set up! I look forward to hearing much more from that in the future!

Political Action Committee
Soliden did another stellar job this month getting a working congress list together for me to propose. Beyond minor tweaks the day off, I barely had to do anything at all and for that I thank you! This position takes a lot of guff for people not getting into congress when they wanted to, but Soliden was able to shrug all of that off and give us a great mix of experience and potential for this last congress.

Legal
Jason Statham Jr. was another new addition to the RT. This job is not as visible as some of the other positions, but he was influential in getting an amendment to our constitution passed regarding the way we run our PP Primaries.

Retention
Bruce Hatton did a stellar job stepping up into the director position this term, along with the help of a new deputy that he brought on, syz2. These guys have been busy this month, not only with running games for the party, but also starting and running our AMP tank giving program.

Recruitment
Our numbers are down a little bit, but Beach Bunny and Free Area have been doing a damn fine job of bringing in quality new members and putting out some good recruiting articles as well! I've heard stories of a forum event coming out soon to, so keep your eyes posted for that!

Tech/Security
Our tech and security team has been putting in a lot of hours making sure that congress members can pass background checks, as well as coming up with some scripts and other tools to help the party run smoothly! A big thanks to all of them!

Forum Admins
Our forum admins have been busy this term making some major changes to the way our forums work and look. John Killah has been doing a stellar job trying to fit in everyone's suggestions while still keeping some semblance of normalcy there. Huge influence in the AMP family, thanks JK!

The Future

Where do we go from here? What's next in the story of the AMP? Well that comes down to each and every one of you reading this. The Strength of AMP is in it's members, so this party can be whatever you make of it! As for those of you in parties other than AMP, I have been really impressed with the amount of cooperation between parties in the recent months, and I hope to see relations continue to get better as this goes on. We're all eAmericans (well most of us are) first, and that is what binds us together!

One other thing with regards to the future. I feel like i still have more to give AMP as it's president, and so I will be running for a second term. I hope to continue the programs we started this term, as well as increase the cooperation between parties!

Where do you fit in?

Like I said earlier, this is your party! The only thing to make it better is to get involved and invest in it yourselves!
Here is a link to an application to join my team this next term. I am planning on shifting a few things around on the round table should I win, and even if you aren't in a director/deputy position I will give this link to all of my directors to draw staff from and give you something to do to make this party awesome! FEEL THE AMPS!!!
