[Ambassador] eSerbia : Impeachment, new Government, and continued problems

Day 2,399, 08:51 Published in Germany Croatia by Nathan Maximillian Stark

The political crisis in eSerbia has reached its peak. Yesterday, an impeachment law against eSerbian CP Strahinjic II was proposed by one of the opposition members of the Congress, and today it was approved by a 28:12 majority of votes. Strahinjic II was impeached, and replaced by the runner-up in the elections SalieryTheGreat, a candidate supported by the opposition.

This all started a couple of days back, when the newly-elected Strahinjic II faced, as he called it, „a sabotage of government work“. He attempted to transfer a certain amount of money from the country account to eSerbia's offical national bank, but he was prevented by certain congressmen who voted „NO“ on multiple donation laws. After he was unsuccessful in finding the real reasons behind their decision, he confiscated and reset the organizations belonging to oppostion parties he believed were responsible, which ultimately culminated in his impeachment. (You can read more about the political crisis in my previous article.)

In the official article of the new MoI, the new government cabinet was revealed. It consists of the following:

Prime Minister : R1sk3
Minister of Defence : Ugac
Minister of Foreign Affairs : GrifinNS
Minister of Economy : Krapinac Bobi
Minister of Education : Nedeljko Bilkic
Minister of Information : Hostilian
Minister of Internal Affairs : DarkoRadojevic

However, this story still hasn't reached its conclusion. In his article, the new MoI Hostilian accuses Strahinjic II of stealing „around 15.000 gold and unknown quantity consisting of hundreds of thousands of dinars (Serbian CC)“ from eSerbian national bank, Narodna Banka Srbije. Moreover, he also claims Strahinjic II and his accomplices are refusing to give the new government access to following state IRC channels : #ebebe (the channel for e-babies), #res (the channel for give aways) and #serbian.mofa (the official channel of eSerbian MoFA), as well as the entire state civil military unit „Kuka i Motika“ (which is under control of Strahinjic II himself).
In a comment to Hostilian's article, Strahinjic II replied „he had merely put away the money from them, because he didn't like the way they were working.“ He also promised to inform the general public about the whereabouts of the money in a day or two.

The clash between the ruling parties and the opposition also reflected on the eSerbian public, with majority of the populuation choosing to side with one of the involved parties, and leaving only a handful of citizens impartial in this conflict. I'll continue to follow the development of the situation in eSerbia and try to give you an objective and accurate view on it.

(Once again, let me remind you that this article doesn't reflect my personal views. It was intended to give a neutral, objective look of an ambassador on the current political situation in eSerbia. I did not side with any of the parties involved in this conflict. If some of my statements sound like I'm supporting a particular side, I apologize because that was not my intention.)
