[Alliance] The Desolation of AURORA

Day 2,564, 08:49 Published in Canada Egypt by Real Steel 4

After the end of CoT and TWO alliances the true spirit of the word "alliance" was long lost!

SIRIUS, ASTERIA, LETO and AURORA were the immediate reactions after the old alliances broke down. As an eIndian citizen at that time my thoughts were centered only on AURORA as it consisted of some old friends. AURORA started out small. I am not awar of the damage statistics or any other related technical stuff but its composition was not of BIG powers.

It was a honor fighting for AURORA that time. The alliance which was not considered to damage and question the authority of the traditional powers achieved some unbelievable feats which amazed many of the BIG powers. The alliance was on a winning spree and concluded some decisive campaigns. One such was securing congress for Macedonia(I prefer to call it so pls!). It successfully secured congress for all its members and CHILE along with BULGARIA even achieved 10/10 bonuses. AURORA soon became a force to reckon with and became to be regarded as the original BROTHERHOOD and the rest tagged as DAMAGEHOODS! Even so it even tried to help out pro-SIRIUS countries and also some small ones like eIndia where external invasions were quite common. Canada vs India was one of my memorable battles then 😛 (Nevertheless India lost it though). Aurora soldiers were keen upon helping the small nations and later on the countries which joined AURORA were reasonably small players.

But later on things began to change. I feel bad to announce tht but the alliance began to lose its essence of being a band of "brothers" and after some internal conflicts in the SG major one being MKD player attempting to keep Aussies wiped by "prioritizing" a RW battle for Congress instead of a crucial battle somewhere else. Cracks widened with crucial alliance founders like Don Croata becoming inactive and the popular "AURORA SHOUTS" vanished. Members became to feel alienated. The fun part of IRC co-ordination was lost and the HQ almost became a dead thing. The Voice of AURORA and all the propaganda stopped to flow. The countries started to become restless and regional relations became more dominant than the prospects of the whole alliance. Somewhere at some point the alliance broke down. Currently most of them are wiped out or else having NAP's which is the most painful part of the whole episode.

Whatever might be the cause the cycle must be continued. Alliances form and break down but what matters is friendship and cordial relations. Hoping to see a cool new alliance.

On the other side of the story R.I.P the young Australian cricketer Phil Hughes 🙁 🙁 🙁
