Hello, you are reading the official ABC newspaper again. Today there is no good news, only small article, from official ABC.
As you may know, region swap between Lithuania and Latvia is going to the successful end. Tomorrow Latvia should attack Louna-Eesti region and get an extra fruit region. As a result, Latvia and Lithuania gets one extra bonus each, which is economically beneficial for both countries. The war with Belarus will be closed and we will be able to help our Estonian allies in the war with Finland, which is not going so well at the moment.
Unfortunately a pack of Latvian guerillas fought very intensively against their own country and their own alliance during the operation. We have all suffered as a result. ABC HQ understands their point, but we are an alliance and first of all we have to talk and look for solutions. Without each other we are weak, so we have to find a way to compromise for all of us. Draining ourselves is very bad practice, leading only to drain and self-destruction.
What have we lost because of actions of these “patriots”?
We had to fight for Belarus, against our allies to ensure a successful swap.
We had to supply fighters to win battles.
We wasted influence that could have been dealt against our enemies like Finland or helping our allies.
What did it lead to?
Nothing.
We heard many complains from Latvia regarding communication with the alliance’s HQ and Latvian government. From ABC HQ I can assure that we are ready to talk with anyone and we are open for any kind of suggestions (you can always contact Lariox, ZygaLTU, djpacuk or future HQ members personally on any matters). During the swap operation, we have tried to talk to rebels the and look for solutions of the problem. For some reason they strictly refused to talk and chosen to solve this question by force. Well, it’s not a problem for us. We are not scared of large countries and alliances, so we will not be frightened by a pack of aggressive two-clickers either! As you can see the problem was solved anyway, just causing drain for all countries. But solving disagreements with force is not what we aimed to. We want all our citizens to be happy with our alliance and benefit from each other. Therefore, remember that we are always ready to talk and you can always make an effort to talk before you start to troll or harm your own country.
With this article we strictly condemn military actions of Latvian rebels (JannII Nurnberg, Pun1sher, draivis, Cnox, Kamikaze LV, HunterZ, Ideefix, and others) and announces them traitors of ABC. We hope such selfish actions will not take place in future.
Also, we could like to thank everyone who showed their understanding and helped to complete the operation.

we had same problem in the past, then doubtful "peace" was made with Belarus. at that time few rebellions rised and organized fights against official orders. We have past this but seems like latvia did not
the bright side is that most of elatvians are better players and look further then one step (i personally know Mongis as one of the most loyal fighter of ABC and few others as well). So i think this misunderstanding will only strength us as a whole, as an Alliance as we should be!

and Russia? well lets admit, that Lithuanians always wanted Russia more as ally not enemy, seeking every opportunity to sign peace ALL the time.

first eLT and eBY will split eLV, next will come eEstonia, and thats only a few words from the top secret treaty between eLT and eBY... Lithuania is on the way to eden, fighting for BY was first step to show loyalty and wish to join them... soon you'll see more, MUCH more...

OMG, you add some Ideefix at the traitors list, who i haven't even heard about and who is not a Latvian, but you don't even add me? I am so insulted.. I like to consider myself as one of the most active ''guerilla'' and anti-goverment protester in Latvia..

And as mentioned before, we are not fighting against ABC, we are fighting against the dictatorship which have infected our country..

Voted & I hope Latvia sometime will be a good country for some alliance (Dont matter which)... Dont know when that will happen, but I hope it ll...
There was no communication problem between government and ABC, all went well. But there was NO communication between our government and its people. Don't blame Latvian people, blame it's leaders.
Oh, right.. you like each other too well. And calling "guerillas" traitors of Latvia and ABC.. bite me!
If you want a compromise - talk. Not give unexplained orders, that go against all we had done previously.
And if so many are ashamed to be Latvian - leave. No one is forcing you to stay.
And it looks like, that gudrinieks gave you list of people, whom he doesn't like and they were all labelled "traitors" cmon... Thats so low. Learn not to interfere with other peoples internal squabbles. Blame the one ,who gave you his word, but didn't know how to keep it and fulfil all his promises.

I completely understand you had communication problems with your government. Unfortunately, we do not have possibility to contact every person individually and ask if it's ok to do this or that. We talked about this a lot in ABC HQ and MU Pavelu cats, assuming that Latvian government represents an opinion of all people. If that is not so, you are always welcome to contact ABC HQ directly.
But I can't understand those who justifie actions of "Lativian patriots". What is the point in fighting before you even tried to talk about it? Fighting against your own co-citizens and allience is the worst option that I can imagine in this game, and I don't see why they chosen such exreme tactics so easily. This way they don't have a slight chance to achieve something positive, only create chaos.
I have never fought against my own country, even if I dissagreed with decisions of my government or even hated it (and believe me, it happened more than a few times). There are much better ways to protest and tell your opinion. What I can see now is Latvia devided into 2 parts, and Estonia being erased by Finland and it makes me sad. We could have avoid all this by simply trying to find a compromise. But I guess pushing Fight button is much easier for some people.

eLV CP gudrinieks posted the information about the peace treaty in press only AFTER it was already signed (the situation in Lithuania and Belarus was quite oposite). So the "guerillas" argument about miscommunication is valid.
Don't divide the ABC, calling someone "traitors". It will pay back in some very unfortunate moment.
And why The ABC newspaper doesn't comes out more often? Last article was 20 days ago..... How in hell people should know whats going on in ABC? Comunication problems everywhere in every way..... Only bunch of people who are in chats know whats hapening....

You should complete the "traitor list", otherwise someone could get offended...
We don't sit in chat all day. Some work, some attend lectures.. A lot of people receive information through newspapers only. And guerillas fought the way they did, not to sabotage treaty. But to stop or delay it.. And only we started to do that, info started to appear.
President represents country, yes. But there also is congress.
People are not divided, most have accepted treaty, although not willingly. More of a protest, how this country is governed.

Indeed draivis, i already got offended for not being added there.. And for the Lithuanians here - You probably wont fully understand the situation that is going on in Latvia unless you read some old Latvian news articles..
Guys, you just killing each other and the allience. If you dont like the agreement or your president, there gonna be elections soon, just get the right candidate, who can stand up for yours and countries believes. Nothing personal to your current CP. You got him elected, so deal with it now. Fighting against each other will not solve any issues.
Just fight somewere else all together instead of fighting your own people and country
cdariuks i think you have missunderstood the situation, we are fighting against our goverment as an institution and the unrightfully signed agreement yes, but on the battlefield we are fighting FOR our country. Our goverment and their followers are the ones fighting AGAINST Latvia.. That is why we are the patriots.

I was fighting for BH in 2 rounds, when rounds was completely lost, so cry me a river.
Belarus was completely conquered, then they can wait, till we clear our problems. Timetable for this deal was/is in our hands. We shouldn't have been so upset, that they didn't win back their regions at first day.
But suddenly everyone gut jumpy, our MU received orders to fight for Belarus.. why?? Let Belarus use their own supply's and let our soldiers rest, resupply.
No.. all jumped in to fight for Belarus...?? WHY? Now, this is mystery for me still.
