eUSG.us Updates:

Recently I put up a new website for the portal and after the last two weeks I realized it wasn't sufficent for what I was trying to do so this weekend I remade it once more but this time based on the Twitter Bootstrap Template which was modified originially by Mike Ontry for his eRep Tools site. I used what he had done and tailored it for the governments uses and included him in the source code so he got credit for his prior work, granted it was only a few line of code but never the less he earned the credit.

The new site is far better than the one I created two weeks ago and allowed me to make a few more things based on the two designs I recently created for the DoCA and the CoS. Come over and take a look at it, it is also responsive so check it out on your cellphone!

One of the biggest problems I have had is finding the many different government newspapers and today that has all changed as I have used the eUSG.us domain and created a bunch of redirects to make it easier for citizens to access all the government properties, below is a list of all the redirects:

New Government Footer

Something everyone knows is that the Government Footer code was very out dated and simply a hobbled together project that well out lived it's usefulness. So after reconstructing the eUSG.us site and creating two new graphics themes for the DoCA and CoS I decided it was time to tackle this overlooked project. The best part of this code is that no longer will you have to update the code when a new President comes into office because it is attached to one of the redirects I mentioned earlier.

Instead of having to recode the footer for all changes the links now simply take a few minutes to change the redirects. Of course the only ones not redirected are the ones outside of my control ie Facebook, the Forums and the Alliance.
