Ladies and Mentlegen of the United Independents Party...



I AM YOUR WINTER KING!!!

I would like to thank those of you who voted for me yesterday. With this success, I hope that we can move the party forward into a new and very much glorious future.

Let's start the show.



Part 1: The Autumn Lieges
As my first act Winter King, I decree the following people Autumn Lieges, and as such, members of my royal court for this month. At the head of this royal legion will be the Frosted Prince himself, Dan Heylin.


Providing the most royal of order and management as the Marquis of Men we have Pheno Sony, Chief of Staff.


In charge of our electoral process will be the newly appointed Tempest Templar comandokiller filling in the role of Secretary of Elections.


The Earl of the Isles Pearcey333 has kindly agreed to assist by being our Secretary of Members. Only glory can follow.


The Sultan of Sands boodo330 has consented to bring his Southern swarms to the aid of our recruitment efforts as Secretary of Recruitment.


The Lost Princess Andrea Lorenz returns to bring us into a new era of media as our Secretary of Publications!


Master of the flow of information, Tarik Terzic, Count of Class, lends us a hand as the Secretary of Communication.


The wayward Captain of Crunch CRoy lends us a hand as our Secretary of Education. With his latest articles and long role, I know he will do well.


Chris Shnitzel, resident Archduke of Invention, will provide us support as our Secretary of Technology.


The Duke of Distress Justin McCravok will be playing a pivotal role as Secretary of Fun.


The IES folks and The Independent Legion commanders will remained unchanged, as our royal court of Autumn Lieges assembles to bring about a new party.



Part 1: The State of the Party

The United Independents Party will be seeing a massive overhaul this month as we not only enhance what we have, but recreate what we are missing and bring about a change like never before. Myself and Dan Heylin have been working on some programs and changes we wish to make, and as of now I can officially announce the first of these: Winterfest.

The UIP has been hibernating for long enough. This winter, we come out to play, as well as bring our strong work ethic and logistic support to our friends and to this nation.

The first part of Winterfest will be a series of competitions, wherein not only the winner but all involved will be able to receive fabulous prizes ranging from gold, to houses, to other special bonuses in party. The first competition will be one for all UIP members to partake in (as most of these will be for).

The UIP member who comes up with the best logo and art for Winterfest will receive a sum of 5 gold. The winner will be decided upon by vote. Second place will receive 3 gold, and third place will receive 1 gold. The only requirement for submissions is that the logo must include the UIP party logo somehow.

This gold is directly out of my own pocket and not out of party funds, as most of the money for Winterfest will be for.

This is merely the first in a long series of such competitions and contests, so make sure to stay tuned, my friends.
