WHPR - Peace with Poland!?

Citizens of the eUnited States of America,
This is a time to rejoice! We have asked for peace with Poland. Our demands were simple, and clear. We expect all of Spain to be surrendered to our government. In return, we will cease hostilities with Poland. The United States desires peace with the nations of Europe. A senseless ping-ponging of regions back and forth, serves no man, woman, nor nation.
The Poles, in a state of obvious mental hardship brought on by losing so many regions to the French Resistance, have not returned our goodwill, and are voting down the MPP in their parliament.

We also have a brief update on the war:
The war with Spain has stalled, do mostly to the fact that the United States desires peace with Spain, more than a long drawn out war. Although the USA doesn’t question it’s ability to crush Spain, the Auctoritas Administration has deemed it far more important to help the Allied Nations of TERRA, than to pursue the interests of the United States.
Most recently, Galicia was secured by American forces, against the Spanish Resistance. This is one of the more important American held regions in Spain, because it borders the East Coast, and gives Spain an invasion route. Along with Asturias, Galicia is the gateway to America. But, Asutrias remains the Spanish capital, and comes complete with 10 Defense Systems, and 5 Hospitals. Not an easy region to sack. There should be no outcry, if America loses more ground to Spain. The focus is not on ourselves at the moment. The focus is on the plethora of nations that helped us in our time of need. Now, we repay the favor.
Present Day Spain
To the north, and east, France and Germany have regained multiple regions from Poland, and will be able to hold Congressional Elections on Sunday. This is positive news for both countries. And even though Poland has declared Germany as their Natural Enemy once again, there is hope for the nation. With the United States shifting their focus to aiding their allies, Germany will remain on the map, and they will hold Congressional Elections.

I hope that you are all enjoying the rousing events that come annually on the 25th of each month. I speak of course, of Congressional Elections! It is not only every citizen’s civic right, but it is their civic duty to vote.
That, and the fact that you get experience points for voting. That alone is the number one reason to vote.
You should have no issues finding a place to vote, as the citizen feed is overflowing with people begging for votes. Find your favorite, and go help them out!!

Lastly, we would like to rehash something that was mentioned in the last edition of the WHPR. That is the new battle orders system, that the government unveiled last week. This allows for any paper to have the top two battles, at any given moment. There is no more need to update your newspaper after the end of a battle. This system does it for you automatically! This is the perfect way to get, fast, accurate, and timely orders to your troops. If you run a Military Unit, this information is invaluable!

Custer, there is no mention of 'that other military organization' because they have no official position within the government, at their own request. They are a private organization, that receives no government funding, as such, they are not mentioned in official government media.

Damage control NXNW? And also, I was not in charge when we got wiped. I took over less then a week after, and under my leadership we have 55 states. So I've obviously done something right.
And NXNW, explain why Cyberwitch refused to set Cantatbria as a priority and send the JCS mil to fight there? I don't know what is more not fighting for the USA then not fighting for the USA in the major battle of the day against our major enemy.

kjork, its a lot of damage, but funding has almost nothing to do with it.
Majority of the damage of any unit comes from tanks who are gonna do the damage anyhow. Giving technician's unit will not make technician do more damage.
Its the same case with any unit.
NXNW: Vanek was NSC director under my administration, which basically brought the USA from wipe back to majority ownership of our original regions. Thus, he didn't get us wiped, he saved us. That's a good attempt at justifying ignoring the national agenda, though.
I only wish you and the rest of the eUS mil could think freely instead of always defending your organization. Sometimes, believe it or not, you're in the wrong.

Israel Stevens: If thats your attitude, that the JCS Forces who turned the tide in many battles dont deserve press because months ago a manufactured contraversy was leveraged by people like Pfieffer to gain the one last thing they couldnt totally control (The Military) then neither does the USAF which was created for one purpose, to do what Congress tells it to do. Yes they take "orders" from the president but He's not the man in charge and were both intelligent enough to know so.
I'd laugh if a JCS military member got in, gave the axe to the USAF and declared the JCS Forces legit again.... Of course with in 24 hours he or she would be impeached and a new puppet put on the throne to do what they are told to do.

Which is why I don't like taking credit. Yet I was accused of being incompetent and losing all our states, which is flatly wrong. I'll ignore the rest of this post.
I was in a major leadership position at the time, good things happened. Kev2629 and FlorenciaC from TERRA deserve a lion's share of the credit. Blank of course was a terrific President, and Alex a standout SoD.

A certain level of the suspension of disbelief is required. Ironic that we're talking about the JCS militias here, the one group that takes all this too seriously.
