If you have been following the news out of Congress lately, you know that talk has centered around the weekly budget. Militaries are having to find creative ways to do funding and the beloved Department of the Interior (which brings you Meals on Wheels and Bewbs 4 Newbs!!!) has taken a huge cut.

The problem is not how much money the government raises in taxes. The problem is the game-imposed limit on how much tax money can be spent per day. No more than $99,999 is available per day because that is the limit Admin has established for donations between the National Treasury and the Congressional Budget Office.

The Department of Media, however has decided to use its considerable prowess to raise money to offset the shortfall experienced by the Department of the Interior. And so the James S. Brady Press Room, in conjunction with the WHPR is proud to introduce:

Hello my name is Kara Beth. I have been appointed as Joint Deputy Secretary of Media/Interior. This fancy title basically means I will be in charge of using the Media to raise funds for the Department of Interior. These funds will be used for Bewbs 4 Newbs and Meals on Wheels. When new players join the game, these are the government give-away programs that accelerate their growth, increase their battle influence, and keep them playing this game we all invest ourselves in.




Have you ever bought a grab bag before? If you have, you probably had no idea what was inside. What you would know is that most of the bags are worth less than what you would pay if you bought the contents on the market.

But you go ahead and buy it anyway, knowing that there are a number of possibilities for a bigger payoff. Whatever is inside, you always get some return on your investment. There are no empty bags.

My Grab Bags are unique in that you know the contents of each and every bag. The only thing is that you don't know which bags contains what items.

We have 100 bags for sale at 300 USD each.

Now, before you laugh at the price, consider this:

1. It's for a good cause.
2. Two of the bags contain Houses, worth far more than 300 USD.
3. This a high rollers contest. The financially challenged have their own Grab Bags opportunity posted here.
4. Every Bag is a winner.
5. 300 USD is approximately only 2 day's pay.

Here's how it works. These bags will be numbered from 1 - 100. You may buy as many bags as you like. Simply choose the bag numbers you would like to purchase and post your choices in the comments below. Then, pay 300 USD for each bag chosen. It is important to note what bags have already been sold. You may look in all the previous comments to determine this or check this article for updates on available bags.

After all 100 "bags" have been sold, their contents will be revealed. After this, the items will be distributed to their rightful owners.

This opportunity is available to all eRep citizens with USD. To qualify, please follow the instructions below exactly.

Instructions
1. Leave a comment stating which bag number (1-100) you would like to purchase.
2. Double check comments to make sure no one else claimed the same bag number as you first.
3. Immediately donate the 300 USD for each bag to Kara Beth.

Rules
1. If someone fails to pay for their choice(s), then I will announce that the bag(s) is up for sale again.
2. You may buy as many bags as you like as long as they are still available.
3. Contest will end when all 100 bags have been sold.
