Where to place and what to place where

Ok 2 people asked me where i will place the holding companies. At that stage I just logged in to the recent changes.

Based on that my strategy will be as follow.
1. MY first free holding company I will place in Ireland for the WRM bonus immediately!

Yes its 70% only but we can see that pollution will nerf the region bonus to shreds anyway.

So base + country will in most countries remain the key component to the formula.

Region and pollution will cancel each other out especially in high bonus regions.

I will add 1 Rubber Plantation and 1 Alu Mine to that Holding Company. If indeed country citizenship is immaterial to production I will get my usual 500 from rubber 250 base + 250(country as serbia have all the resources).

If indeed I dont get 500 here . I can still revise my strategy.

I am anyway planning to bring some taxes back to Ireland so that dont care if i operate at a minor production in 33% of my wrm factories.

At this stage I will also be able to discern what is the effects on pollution and will basically be able to see how much region bonuses I get in Ireland.
2. Here things get a bit hairy. I Have an idea that pollution will nerf the region bonus completely.

So step 2 I immediately place my food Holding in a high bonus region that is rented by Serbia. We have one in Japan and Canada.

So now I will be able to see after a few days the effects of pollution on my production. Day 1 will have no pollution obviously. By day 2 I could somehow get a better idea since we will be able to see the pollution per region.

Anyway I will now be able to discern the net effect of region bonus minus pollution.

STEP 3: After a week or 2 I will place my other Holding Companies .

Let the dust settle.

1. Discern the popularity of the new airplanes and profitability. Figure out how they will fit into the new system. Make a projection if your wrong your wrong but then this is a game if you do not do some decision based on your calcs - why play online games.

2. Discern how region bonuses , country bonuses and pollution work across several different regions and countries.

3. Give Plato time to figure out he f* up in several areas.
On a side-note:
The biggest space telescope that will launch in October 2018 will have a zero error tolerance. Unlike Hubble which was within travelling distance this will require several years months of travel to fix a problem.
