I have often been asked what ausEaid does, so I thought i might save myself some time and make a article here. AusEai😛 Not all heros are in the frontlines.

Brief History



The AusEaid History Book.


ausEaid started as a private charity collecting donations and passing them on to new citizens who could use a little extra help getting started. Since it\'s humble beginnings ausEaid have expanded to providing support and assistance to all eAustralians, with a heavy focus on both education and new citizens.

It is still a private charity funded solely by donations from the people of eAustralia. With a primary aim of providing help and support to those in need. ausEaid has helped many resolve in game issues not outlined within the programs below.

aside from donations of currency and gold, used to support ongoing programs, ausEaid receives donations of products from members of the Australian community. These donations are passed on to citizens who demonstrate a need and are actively trying to help themselves.

Welcome to eAustralia:





Each new citizen is personally welcomed by PM (with thanks to Corny-Ratbag for making this task easier). This PM provides personal contact- an important part of keeping new citizens interested and feeling involved, basic orientation information, and an offer of help and support. New citizens who contact ausEaid, either in response to that pm or of their own initiative are donated food. If you are new to eAustralia and for some reason have not received a message from ausEaid, feel free to drop us a line.

Targeted at citizens under 40 wellness, ausEaid provides gifting (and q5 food in extreme cases) to those who ask for help. Donations of wellness are also given to new level 5 citizens enabling them to fight and use the hospitals for wellness. Gifts of wellness are always accompanied with a pm providing personally appropriate information -ensuring the person knows how to use the hospital, what quality food they should be consuming etc. All citizens receiving gifts from ausEaid must be active and either and Australian Citizen or Resident. ausEaid provides citizens with assistance relocating to a hosptial within eAustralia. This is either done as a one way or return trip to their home region.

ausEaid tackles the education and provision of information to citizens in a number of ways:

It provides information to the general public, by writing articles perceived as meeting a need to the public and by maintaining a list of useful articles and tools for all citizens

The eMentor program, as run by ausEaid, aims to provide people with a mentor in a specific area of interest. Mentors are volunteers from amongst older Aussies who have exhibited not just a talent in that specific area, but a skill at transferring that knowledge to others. Mentors are available in all areas of erepublik, citizens requesting to be partnered with a mentor pm ausEaid and after discussing their needs, and the provision of basic information, a suitable mentor is identified. The ementor program also has a channel on IRC (#ementor)specifically for asking questions and get support.

An education program is also run by ausEaid where citizens pm questions to the ausEaid org. Answers are referenced and comprehensive.
