vCP - a round up

Day 2,321, 07:23 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

G’day Aussies,

Well we are nearing the end of the month and finally you will get to democratically elect a new country president. It’s been a horrible month for Australia with many disasters, fall outs, inactivity and drama’s. So let’s have a round up of this month shall we?

It started with a lot of optimism by having a senate but that faded pretty quickly as we decided to progress without renewing our NAP with chile. Words were broken and pressure put on us not to start RW’s that we were told were fine when we first signed the NAP, so we chose to go alone and keep our dignity. Chile then handed our regions to Indonesia and FYROM, mainly because they were under pressure by Indonesia and no doubt Indo would have taken what they needed by force so Chile back tracked and gave away an Important region.

FYROM then were told to wipe our remaining region because we did not re-sign our NAP with Chile, so as dutiful servants they did as they were told and denied a small nation a senate.

Our CP then left due to personal agreements with some of his cabinet, sadly Senate decided that our CP Cyber.Casper quitting the game was not Impeach worthy so the guy who was lined up to take over and came second in the CP elections decided he had had enough and also left. Hence why you have been stuck with my goodself instead of the player who finished third as he is an inactive player and an unknown quantity.

Well we allowed the Northern Territory of Australia - aka Indonesia, a region of Western Australia and for now we granted them Java. As an act of friendship we shall not wipe them for a few weeks at least and when we talk again it shall be in a loud and slow voice shouting English words so they can understand a real language.

The Dept of Defence was modernised and now you have battle priorities as well as three new articles per week, this of course includes daily updating so you ARE the most well informed fighters in this damned game when it comes to Defence articles. Hopefully the next CP will modernise even more so our MU’s will be co-ordinated and we can strike as one.

The DoEE has been active recently and there is an article writing competition currently running, sadly the entrants have been few and far between...so i urge you to write, no matter how brief and make this community active again. There is a generous prize as a reward so we’ll say no more.

Foreign Affairs - Well they’ve been busy this month and already we have a tasty MPP stack, on top of that we have been making new friends with Asgard and we hope to further strengthen those bonds. Asteria sadly turned us down with regards to our application to LETO but we’ll try once more in a few weeks before giving up and looking at our limited available options.

The ADF is still growing and along with the JDS have been more than helpful to those new and young players in need of a helping hand.

I know our community has shrunk as of late due to another game similar to this, however gold reigns supreme on that as well so don’t believe the hype you may be hearing as their are more flaws in it than the Ritz hotel. Don’t give up because if a working in a small community isn’t what you are into then if ever that game irons out its problems then people will flock to that as well and you’ll be in the same boat. One of it’s attractions was a limit on buying gold and already there's talk of that cap being removed...we warned you first.
