United Front: The Week in Review

Dear comrades,

The week has been another success for the United Front. We briefly held sixth place, and still maintain our aim to be #5 by the end of April. Below are some updates:

IRC

We now have an IRC channel! You can now find party members in #UnitedFront. Speak with yst31 if you get stuck.

Commune

Wages remain at 50cc per day for the forthcoming week in the commune.

Future Direction

We're now moving in to a position to decide together what we want the party to be in the future. We'll soon begin putting our policies together, though the method of us all doing this together will need to be decided first. All ideas are welcomed!

We also need to start looking at our collective ideology. How far left do we wish to lean? Are our members pro-democracy or pro-authoritarianism? I'll soon put a set of questions together to make a small eRepublik political compass, and we can get an idea of where the party stands.

Party MU

I've recently proposed in our party feed that we create a party MU, comment with your thoughts and whether you think it will be a good or bad idea! 🙂

Recruitment - Party Referral Scheme

We've recently trialled a recruitment initiative which has been largely successful. We're starting a referral scheme, so that both you and your friends can be rewarded for making this party a success. The scheme is simple, see below:
-10Q7 tanks for you for reffering a member.
-5Q7 for your friend upon joining.

We'll be doing a competition soon, in which the monthly leader can win a war stash on me.

I wouldn't mind a party that leans pretty far to the left. Not sure where I fall on the authoritarian/democracy spectrum at the moment. I feel like that might be best to float given different circumstances. Authoritarian in times of war/strife (better to tow a united line), and democratic in times of (relative) peace. I'll have to get involved in the IRC channel at some point.
