TWO KIND OF PLAYERS ?? Part 2.
james janeway
I got a lot of reactions on my latest article in this newspaper. Some players did not understand what i mean.
My problem is not that there are forums offcourse. We need them, because there are some thinks that could not be discussed in public.
But.. Are there many of that things??
I do not think so. And i think a lot of the discussions on the forums could be in the real game and newspapers without any problem.
So, i realy think there is a small elite of players, that thinks the game is in there hands. They make the rules and other players are less important.
And that is not how it has to be!
Alle players have the same right. And so it is my opinion that the forums should only be used for secret information, and that ALL other info comes into the game.
Why not? There are the newspapers made for!

Indeed all players have the same rights. But:
Players may decide to organize themselves on forums and/or IRC.
It is very difficult to find articles ingame and voting on articles is in some times bought.
It is very difficult to have a real good discussion ingame.
Ingame CP is chosen.
Ingame party presidents are chosen.
Ingame members of congress are chosen.
On the forums and IRC the users there decide how to organize.
Ingame the players use the system organized by admins of eRepublik.
Very good to be active ingame and write articles. No one is forced to go on IRC or forums.
However when you go to IRC you might find an addition to this game (donations, discussions and friends). When you go on the national forums you can get more involved when you want.
Beware on the forums and IRC you might find also enemies, retards and frustration (things you can find ingame too).
Most important, play for fun.
The problem with discussing things ingame, is that most articles won't even get to be listed and those that are will be listed for 2 days, at most. discussions offline can be more in depth and last for longer.
