Since I'm a weeny Div 1 fighter with no money, no more EBs and no intent of breaking out the MasterCard, this airstrike excitement has thoroughly worn off. So, to entertain myself and anyone else in the same situation...I played with my newspaper. Sorry, I'm seeing something of a pattern here.

That's a lovely sentiment. But I think you've mistaken this for a serious article. 🙂

The Chinese built the Great Wall to keep the Mongols out. I don't recall Mongols and Turks being genetically related to each other, at least not any more than any human is to another human. 🙂 Culturally, the Mongols and Turks are quite different. And they certainly were in the 15th century...

Pardon,you. Cuz u r wrong. Turks trace their background to Ghingiz Khan - Founder of Mongol Empire. You mistaken Suleyman the Magnificent with Salahadin.

Turkish civilisation is much older than the Mongol invasion in 1400 or so... Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Egyptians, and so many more. Turkey is a wonderful part of the world, and has been at the crossroads of trade routes and the gateway to two continents for Millenia.

You are correct, I have confused Suleyman with Salahadin. My apologies, the names sound similar to me when written in English.

You gonna teach Turk about Turks history ?? 🙂 We track our background to Cengiz khan ( he invaded Europe in 1223), Attila Khan - he went all the way to Rome, and Tamerlan khan. Thats why if u will travel starting balkans, going thru Turkey, Siberia, and Central asia - You will find very close dialects. Its a reminder of Turkic Empires.
