All criteria for Schengen are fulfilled by us. We have the capability to coup better then Greeks and not to mention the Hungarians. We have at least 40.000 strong military personnel who were in theatres of war. Afghanistan, Irak. A lot of expertise and knowledge. We are a stronghold of democracy and partnership with NATO. We can!
Our embassy in Syria remained open and right now we provide consular help for the most of eu countries. France, for example, closed their embassy. They cannot, but they are in schengen.
For at least 45 years, we admitted students from middle east to Romania. we have strong ties there. we have the knowhow.
The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and External Intelligence Service (SIE) have a large expertise on how to manage muslim people. We don`t have the money.
As an European citizen i have a question or two...
1. Why i have to present an identity card on a schengen border??? And tens of thousands of refugees (non ue citizens) does not have to?
Maybe I should consider myself a special person. But i really feel discrimination.
I thought myself, by now , as a second class citizen. Too little justice, too little reforms in Romania. Right now i see that all schengen bull$it was about rotherdam port and some highways. Constanta port will replace 65% of rotherdam port if Romania is in schengen. And right now i feel like a third class citizen.
Is this right?
2. I don`t want in schengen no more. We can coup with this. Take all refugees and distribute them to all recognized democracies in Europe. Starting with amazing Hung aria a nation without compassion, without any sense of reality and what was happening with them. Then Holland, UK, France, Denmark, Finland. Germany on the pressure of big multinationals for cheap workforce, recognised their role and addmit them. All of them in a shared consense started the problem. Arab spring... and sh@t. they shoud solve it. But not on the third class citizens expences. like bulgarians, romanians, checz, poles, slovakians and so on.

Every European citizen should be consider as you are ; )
and don't think you're that far from them ; but that far from leading people.
Now Syria was a multicultural and multi-religious country living at peace.
"Muslim" word has no place in here.
Romanians, since our merging with Eu in 2007 were considered second class citizens. now we are third class citizens. romania is a multicultural and multi religious example for eu. you didn`t have the time to look and to notice this.

all migrations has a solution. the solution is not on european soil. Romania, has a muslim community of about 70.000. they can be made an example for about the three times of this number if we accept refugees. but the problem is not in eu. is in syria, iraq and afganistan. we don`t have the money. eu will provide it. you, me, greeks...from taxes. no more childrens have to die for this.
my problem is not for the refugees. my problem is to those politicians in the wealthy countries which denigen me to be regarded as an equal to them.

There are places in EU where your ID card means nothing and you need your passport or driving licence. Trust me. 🙂
forth class citizen?? i thought that an id card is enough. of course, a driving licence if needed. passport??? this is discrimination on face.
Come in UK and you will see. And not only at the airports. 🙂
I don't want to be misunderstood. In airports, if you want to fly from UK in another EU country (not Romania), most of the times they will not accept your ID card and will ask for your passport.

It doesn't matter. It's in EU, so normally your ID card should be valid in all EU countries.
The problem with refugees is other. Why they have chosen to come in Europe and not in others Arabian countries?

direct x because turkey is full (more than 1.000.000 syrians) the rest of neibourgs comes up with another 2.000.000 people. lebanon, egipt, jordan. it`s a big question tho why saudis, iranian quatar, didn`t join the ones in
i`m taking tho the knoledge of our inteigence which is advanced in the matter, and germany commitment.
i`m in a kinda of needing more intel...till then, i`ll go with the winners.
if it is about terrorism, i thank god that we are prepared. we know how to catch, get and expel from romanian soil bad kind of people.
Where I live at present are no mosques. No Moslem will want to stay here.

One of the reasons if not the only one Romania is not in schengen is because of Constanta. The dutch economy is since ever based on trade/ commerce and moving stuff from the far east to whole Europe. Rotterdam have such a key role in their economy that if you take it's monopoly away, all the flowers, hookers and weed in the world will not cover the loss. But there is a way if you want to be in schengen... sell out Constanta to them, and tomorrow you are a full member.
Daca tot discutam de Constanta cam cat de destept e sa vrei sa treci in subordinea unuia ca Mazare un port care ar deveni unul din principalele puncte de intrare in Schengen al marfurilor.Cam cat de coruptibil si santajabil e unul ca Mazare?E cum ti-ai trage vreo 7 suturi in c*aie.
Atata timp cat primarii sunt mana in mana cu presedintii de CJ,sefi de DICOT,judecatori si alte persoane care ar trebui sa apere legea si sa o aplice si ei nu fac decat sa apere interese ale diferitilor oameni de afaceri nimeni nu are incredere in noi si pe buna dreptate.Institutiile in Romania sunt in continuare parazitate de oameni pusi in functie de cat de bine se inteleg cu baronii locali alesi primari,presedinti de CJ,etc.Asta nu face ca Romania sa fie in stat de drept in adevaratul sens al cuvantului.Cand vom ajunge acolo Romania va merita sa fie in spatiul Schengen.

Pentru omul de rand nu conteaza daca suntem sau nu in schengen.prezinti un buletin la aeroport si asta e.Pentru cei care transporta marfa ar fi un avantaj pt ca nu mai stau la cozi.
Cat priveste criteriile😛oti sa indeplinesti toate criteriile tehnice posibile daca nu exista incredere nu intra nimeni.Nu te ajuta cu nimic sa ai camere de ultima generatie daca cu 50 de eur dati la vama se inchide camera sau cantarul care cantareste tirul sau sistemul pt tracking de marfa pt tva.Si au fost cazuri recente unde vamesii de la un intreg punct vamal au fost arestati.Cand Ro va ajunge stat de drept in adevaratul sens al cuvantului atunci si "partenerii externi" dar mau ales cetatenii ei vor avea incredere.
Este o discuție destul de complexă, și nu înțeleg ce rost își are pe joc, sincer.
Nu suntem în Schengen pentru că suntem incapabili. Dacă eram capabili, indiferent de interesele unora sau altora am fi fost acceptați. Dar nu suntem vrednici de civilizație.
Încetați să vă mai imaginați că statul trebuie să dețină totul, pentru că nu e așa. Cu cât statul se implică mai puțin, cu atât e mai bine.
Imigranții sunt și ei oameni. Vor acolo unde e bine. Odată pus piciorul în Europa, odată parcurs un drum anevoios, mai tragi de tine încă puțin ca să ajungi în cel mai bun loc. De ce? Pentru că ești om și pentru că îți dorești ca orice alt om cea mai bună soluție. Sigur, sunt riscuri în orice, dar hai să nu demonizăm o masă de oameni aiurea. Totuși, în afară de percepțiile religioase, nu sunt chiar atât de înapoiați. Doar disperați.
Ca să-ți răspund la întrebări: 1. Da, e corect. 2. Ba da, vrei. Și vei intra, într-un an dacă nu toamna asta.
Singura problemă care rămâne ar fi să ne mai responsabilizăm și noi puțin ca popor, ca țară... să nu mai facem lucrurile de mântuială. Că nu clasa politică e de vină că suntem noi cu toții incapabili să avem demnitate și coloana dreaptă.
