They're back

Day 2,364, 10:28 Published in Ireland Ireland by Liam Tatlock

In recent days we have seen a gradual return to Ireland of the members of a certain party/group. A large number of these had left Ireland after we were wiped by the UK to take up citizenship in the UK, leaving a small number of the more "trusted" members to help facilitate their return at some point.

This return is now almost complete and, in doing so, they have dealt probably a fatal blow to the Immigration Committee, a multi-party group set up to facilitate immigration applications and ease the pressure on Dail members, who may have little, or no, knowledge of applicants, as well as attempting to keep threats, or less useful players, out of the country. We have seen several citizens passed before ImmComm recommendations were given with the likes of Chewchewshoe, who recently plundered the UK treasury, and Orangejuicemmm, renowned for his trolling, allowed back.

This group, currently called The Labour Party, have shown their disdain for a group that was set up to help and, in doing so, have dealt a crippling blow to that group. With this in mind, I have resigned from the Immigration Committee, of which I have been a member since it's re-introduction under Ian Coleman last year. I have also removed the ILP from it's jurisdiction, so we will responsibly accept those applicants we believe will be of benefit to our country.

It may be a coincidence that they have returned now that Ireland is both more prominent and has a healthy treasury, but some, including people outside the ILP, have concerns about this and fear their return and increased activity will see them make an attempt on government positions, which in turn opens up access to financial gain.

Ireland has, I believe, had success under them many years ago, before I joined the game, but has also suffered robberies from them, trolling and abuse in articles and mails (including an attack on the victims of the Vukovar massacre in which, I believe, the word "pigs" was involved.). It is also a matter of record that the ILP was subject to PTO from them when one of their multis was allowed a position of influence in the leadership as our long-held decision to give young players a chance was abused.

Their current history arose from membership of CrOmega, which then went on to form a political party, which in turn became the Labour Party. They have now embarked on their usual pattern of bribery, offering multi Q7s to attract young and naive players on the back of an article about the Easter Rising. Indeed, we frequently see them issuing articles ostensibly promoting and praising Irish history, while buying votes to improve the chance of younger players seeing them in the hopes they can convince new players they are strongly pro-Ireland, despite the majority of them moving abroad after the last wipe.

We believe in an equal Ireland and have striven to maintain that aim through thick and thin. Sadly, the former ICA people in The Labour Party believe in primus inter pares politics, where all are equal, but some more equal than others! We would be happy to see a move by them away from their old ways but, until that happens, Treasury beware.
