To all citizens of eBe, and especially to those who hold a seat in our Congress.
Vote no to this NE
I've been giving a lot to this community in these last months. I've tried to keep out any political activity out of my incentives. But still people insist on putting up stupid laws, which could harm our relationship with our neighbours.
So I'm giving my advice to my ministers to exclude such individuals from any further aid during this week at their own discretion. If Congress has problems with that,they should adress me. Not pouring in my wealth to get eBe Gold, and have people voting Yes to that NE now start b*tching about that they want a piece of the cake after the tournament.
Currently I'm pondering about any steps I could take to get people to realize the consequences of their ways.

I disagree to exclude people and i will support an impeachement if this goes trough!
Its a democratic system everyone has their right if elected to propose things, as a congress men you have the power to agree or disagree, but excluding "enemies" is a bridge to far for me.
They are not enemies, they have the ingame power to propose anything, and what happens when this goes through, Poland decides it has had enough and wipes us. You going to cry about the economy then and expect the 'rich' to help everyone out? My richness comes from RL money, happy to share, all I ask is some common sense. All I get is a feeling that it is all about taking and not giving.
But go ahead, impeach me, it's your ingame right. Why worry about immigration, it's the ingame right to let anyone in you want? When the bank is empty, there's no-one to help you develop further, don't expect me to open my pockets anymore then.
I am not talking about this proposal i am talking about your suggestion whit which i can not agree.

You're saying, it doesn't what you do, a few people play some meta-game, where they figure out how to help each other, but no need to even consider the effort that these people do. Just reap the rewards they give, and for the rest give them the finger if they ask anything in return : a bit of common sense.
I won't do anything if the proposal gets trough, if it gets trough it gets trough, then majority agreed on a conflict and then i'll evaluate my personal findings depending the outcome.
That has nothing to do whit your suggestion whit which i can not live whit again.
The people involved that vote yes are elected, fight and work for belgium so excluding them from programs is something i'll utterly rebel against.

The people involved don't participate in the meta-game, they only seem to want the benefits of whatever others have setup and invest time in. The burden of actually participating seems a bridge too far, because gamemechanics don't ask for it.
And the exclusion is not because of this single proposal, it would be because it's the n-th one.
Well guess opinions differ, its their right to not invest time in the meta game, but then incentives for players need to be made speciafilly mentioning they need for exemple a forum acount.
It needs to be an objective system.
Current incentive decission is based on the national damage rankings as implented by sx80.
Now your basically telling sx80 to continue his system but to exclude people.
How will this ever go objectivlly?

Its your right as cp to do whatever you want, but its my right to complain and write about something off which i can not agree on which is this.
Gij hebt ofwel serieuze kleppen op uw ogen, of ge kent ze maar al te goed. Dit is de zoveelste keer dat vooral Texas zulke zaken doet.
En ik vertel SX80 niks, ik kan ze alleen het advies geven. Ik heb al mijn vorige aanmoedigingen gedaan zonder te zien naar de politieke of andere standpunten van wie dan ook. Een brug proberen te bouwen. Zal ik voortgaan met zulke zaken, ja, maar dat zal niet meer publiekelijk zijn. Zo lang die gasten ongegeneerd verder doen, ik ook. En dat beetje dat we als gemeenschap kunnen uitdelen is slechts een pleister. Die gasten zijn er niet in geinteresseerd, daar ben ik zeker van. Als ze niks krijgen zagen ze, als ze alles krijgen zeggen ze niks en doen ze verder zonder zich te bekommeren om alle anderen.
Heeft niks met de situatie te maken toch.
En met zo'n reactie ben ik allesbehalve gediend.
Het is niet omdat er iets wordt gedaan wat niet hoort dat jij dan even cru moet reageren, allé met wat zijn we bezig dan.

Kijk ik denk dat we hierover gaan blijven verschillen van mening dus ik wil het er graag hier op houden.
Jij bent voorstander van een bepaalde maatregel op te leggen die gebaseerd is op dingen waar ik niet mee akkoord ben. Dus we kunnen daarover blijven discusseren, want ja je hebt op bepaalde vlakken een punt maar op andere vind ik dan weer niet.
Ik ben momenteel nog zeer braaf in mijn reactie.
Maar kijk de impeachment is er, met een beetje geluk is het erdoor voor zij die blijven zeveren over fairplay en ondertussen de bij gebrek aan een beter woord de tegenstander zich geen moer van aantrekt.
Om een kleine analogie te trekken : medeplichtigheid is niet enkel deelnemen

This is the same problem I left a few years ago with different players. There is no real solution to it and the apathy of others always ends up poisoning the efforts of the hard workers. Just like RL!!! 😛

the biggest problem is not that someone made a rogue NE, there are always players who do this, and we all know that Texas Cowboy is specialist for doing that.
The biggest problem here is that there are 6 others who voted yes while they know that it is wrong to do so without discussion, I understand that our CP is upset with this and he has a reason to be, for the rest he is in charge so he has the right to propose sanctions, especially if it is himself who is paying for those favours.
Bring down this rulership of eBE Forum tyranny.

the biggest problem is that a single player can upset / annoy / irritate a whole group of other players and no one can do anything about it. Admins don't care. Ignoring them makes them shout louder. Reacting on them makes them shout more. The only thing you can actively do against them is exclude them.
You can be very much "oh this isn't fair", but it is the only tool available to us. Texas has been asked multiple times to stop. Multiple people complained on his behaviour, and now this rogue proposal, again? Sometimes you have to discipline someone if they don't want to listen.
A lot of congress members donated their congress gold, several private citizens (not congress members) also donated gold and CC. Sadly it seems it stays limited to a couple of parties. Directory9 was especially generous and donated much more. So those who now benefit from the tournament rewards don't need to say thank you to the people who donated this, but they could atleast show some respect and allow the gov to do its job without having to put out international fires because of someones stupid urge to click on a button just cause he can.
Hmmm, It's one complex issue.
I would suggest to talk to ePoland, then vote yes. If congrss makes stupid decisions....;
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
I like to keep things simple:
* why should we play play democratic if they don't???
* i'm like a mirror; I treat you as you treat me.
* respect comes both ways. Why should i respect you if you don't respect me
Poland *needs* that region as a path to somewhere so talking to Poland wouldn't have made a difference.
