The US war to regain control over all original territories is closing to its end. Or is it?
With little left of Russian territories, there is increasing pressure on the remaining ones. Russia started (with the help of its allies) defending the territories and managed to successfully defend couple of regions.
On the other hand, Colombia started attacking US territories in the South. Some of them have already been conquered and others are under attack. But what is the purpose of this war? Colombia will not be able to defend these regions for too long. The only result will only be tactical- prolonging the war and delaying the recovery of the original regions of USA.
It is somehow interesting that pressure from PEACE was suddenly increased. Until recently, they paciently lost territories in the North America. Not anymore.
I go back to one private discussion where it was suggested that the only goal of the WW3 was to allow Hungary passage to Far East high-iron regions avoiding territories of its allies Russia and Indonesia. While this might be true, this is not entirely correct. PEACE have a clear interest in maintaining control over Canadian regions which they still hold. Also the harassing of USA means that opening a channel to Far East for Hungary was NOT the only goal of the war- otherwise PEACE forces would have withdrawn by now.
PEACE still seems stronger on a tactical level and they clearly managed to maintain the war in FORTIS/EDEN territories. The way I see it, Hungary and Indonesia did not spend a lot of money recently, but they are piling up gold for future campaigns.
Let's not be fooled, the real war did not even start. The two warlords of PEACE were not even scratched. And they have plenty of force to bite. And my feeling is that they plan to hit soon somewhere else- not in N America.

The war could have been closed when it has achieved its goal. Indonesia would have kept California, Hungary would have kept Alaska and got Hello Kitty, Russia got Urals and would have received tones of GOLD from the USA.
Two events turned the tide:
1. Russia rejected the peace as they wanted to keep New York
2. The USA backstabbed PEACE because they have closed the MPP between Indonesia and Portugal. This was a dirty trick as they said Indonesia that they are closing the direct war.
Now it is more about payback. The USA is punished for breaking their word in the relations with Indonesia, while Russia is fighting to keep New Jersey on the long term. I belive Florida is the main goal once again.
By the way after what the USA did I will gladly spend my own GOLD in order to tank in Florida.
Zoli, USA proposed peace and they were refused by Russia. They were in their own right to continue fight in a different way. Once a party breaks its word, the rule of fairness is broken. PEACE should have controlled Russia, which they did not 🙂
PS: I don't think you would spend any gold on tanks. You just save it for the real deal, the US was is just tactical 🙂

Let's be honest. You want to believe (like I do) that this is a strategy game, but the fact that it had been designed as a real world replica makes the role play more appealing.
I would not fool myself and not think that you will not attack us just because we only have one high region. The fact that you want retribution doesn't come from the fact that you're extremist, you just want to get even or get lost 😃
MIstwalker put it right: they are just a bunch of hypocrites. i said it numerous times: peace claims to be liberators while they are just (i hate this word, it sounds terrible) imperialists. at least some other people in other countries admit it clearly, peace just fool people. i could even make a stronger comment on this linking it to the rl, but i would get fp.
Zoli: yes, this is exactly what I meant by "different way". You should not expect kind treatment in response to treachery. PEACE is an alliance and if Russia is not respecting their word this is affecting not only Russia, but your whole alliance in which Hungary is the first voice. So it is mainly Hungary fault they did not control PEACE allies properly.
Lyberace: Ultimately each party makes the decisions which make sense strategically and tactically (Hungary made a nice job btw keeping some regions with strategic importance), but they also have to make it in such a way that they don't enrage their ennemies and even more their allies. "Imperialist" is after all just a matter of perception (including but not limited to "winner writes history").
