The Pfeiffer Chronicles - Part One
Pfeiffer.
I have often published things in the name of the 'Pfeiffer Presidential Library'. That has always been a tongue in cheek thing for me, which I hope everyone understood.
However, today I really am releasing something that would fit in such a place (were it to exist).
The first Chapter of my memoirs.
Here they are.
They're on Google docs and not here for two reasons:
1. Length. Part One is fourteen pages long.
2. No derp mods or admins here can delete a GDoc.
So, feel free to comment here, or in the forum thread I've just opened.
Enjoy,
Pfeiffer

Dear god 14 pages?
Part One.
You should try to publish it as a book after your done.
you're*
TLDR / too much spelling mistakes
shut up, garmr
*many
Too MANY spelling mistakes, Grammar Palin.
NEEDS MORE GREELING!!!
Why go out for steak when you've got chicken nuggets at home?
I was fully expecting the link to be a RickRoll or something similar.
Nah, maybe part two.
it was... a fourteen page Rick Roll.
I love stuff like this. Keep it coming!
Maybe. It's actually a lot of work turning my notes into narrative like this, because my first drafts are super long. This is trimmed down from 21 pages, once I cut out a lot of small details and petty squabbles that people don't care about, and my commentary on game mechanics and admin screwups/changes.
OMG, you actually take notes on your game play; truly egocentric of you....
He writes this stuff to get a boner
Really. An actually stiffy? No, really?
I wondered when this would happen.
Very nice, Mr. Arundel. I don't have the time at the moment to read the whole thing, but I will read it. My only problem is once again it is OUTSIDE the game. Pretty sure you could edit it to fit IN GAME and it would be a nice little piece of history concerning America.
Ofc that would open up questions you would rather not answer, open yourself to other citizens interpretation of those events; would generate some fun for all.
I was just glad it wasn't linked to some stupid GIF....
People are welcome to discuss the contents here or on the forum. I didn't post it here for the reasons stated, and that's my choice.
:troll mode on:
You are completely correct, it is your choice; which I respect.
However, any comments on the eUSA Forums will be heavily censored and/or trolled as is the history of those forums; outside documents can be altered and these are in fact being edit by you even now.
Write something up, publish it in game; then stand behind what you say. I very much would love to see you do a Biography IN GAME.
:toll mode off:
I tried being reasonable with you, I know better. My bad.
So, once more it is play by my rules or I take my ball and go home, well; goodbye...!
read it, CHS..
and he did say why it's in a Doc instead of in game or even in the dreaded Forums-- so no one can screw with it or screw with over it. sorry, no Pfeifferist Conspiracy here.
'...so no one can screw with it or screw with over it.'
Once he publishes it here there are only two ways it can be 'screwed with', he himself edits it or someone reports it and it get removed by Admin; the only way someone could 'screw with over it' is if he reveals some truth long hidden.
Neither of these reasons hold water. Why would anyone report his article and surly he wouldn't edit it, right?
If there are things in this tome that someone could 'screw with over it', I assume he means someone will screw with someone else; then publishing outside the game won't stop the 'screwing'.
Plus there is a lot of history contained within his Diary.
So,e good nostalgia in there from a golden age
I agree.
Sad he won't publish it in game.
America's loss....
Put it on the wiki
I would go for that, but again once there anyone can alter them....
I'll read it.
Not a bad read for those like me who enjoy eHistory. The linked documents (org chart etc.) were interesting. More references to dick-touching than I expected.
Not one mention?!?! 🙁
We didn't really cross paths in a significant way until 2011 when I joined USWP, you know dis.
tl;dr
Ill finish it when I get home from work tomorrow. I've enjoyed every bit so far. Keep this stuff coming
o7
I enjoyed the read, even though much of it was from a time before I made it to this game.
Realistically, I'll expect to see Part 2 sometime around Christmas.
I will be surprised if it ever gets published....

I enjoyed it.
Pfeiffer honestly has always been one of my favorite players, he understands the game.
Is that why we see him in game so much?
His last article was at Christmas time. What you mean is he knows how to play the metagame over on the eUSA Forum OUTSIDE of eRepublik.
'I didn't sign up to play eUSA Forum.
I signed up to play eRepublik.'
Phoenix Quinn
And yet the metagame is the game, there's no distinction.
The game is meant to be social, to deny how players communicate is to needlessly isolate yourself from what ever made eRepublik interesting in the first place.
Regardless, I'm not looking for an argument, just stating my opinion ^__^
Game and meta-game are separate entities with separate goals.
Plato only wants to make money.
The metagame on the eUSA Forum is how you and your group play eRepublik. The SFP wishes to craft a game playing environment open to change, open to all citizens; one that wishes to see growth in the game -not one that drives away citizens and allows one group to keep their hands in the tax revenue cookie jar....
What is done on the eUSA Forums is very antisocial and dividing....
