The importance of being .... fresh
Alphabethis
One of the most striking facts about erep is the huge number of old players prowling around, dictacting what to do, what to ally and what to think.
In some cases, freshness is just attacked with harsh criticism or outright insults.
I want to state here a couple of principles:
- Nobody is above anybody ( king or not, revolutionary or not)
- No new (and untested) idea is worst than an old (and proven) bad idea.
- Being part of a big party means quite often to you acknowledge some multis to take advantage of you.
- Be funny
- Don't change your name or avatar needlessly ( it's no funny, now new, confusing and doesn't put you above anybody)
- Express yourself, don't let others have your say for you
Comments
-Express yourself
-Don't change your name or avatar needlessly
🙁
Exactly what I was going to post haha
well, in your case, it's not needlessly... anyway, express yourself.
Good points, vote. 🙂
"No new (and untested) idea is worse than an old (and proven) bad idea."
No, quite a lot of them are.
They call me the Fresh Prince.
The point is that there shouldn't be so much hatred/disdain against new players. There shouldn't be people going, "Oh look at him, he has only 4000 strength, just ignore him". Everyone is new at some point and sometimes a 4 month old account can be more useful than a player who's been here for 5 years.
