The Day of Independence

Day 4,836, 08:44 Published in Lithuania Lithuania by Magnus Dux

Hey everyone,

On 16th of February Lithuania celebrates the Day of Independence. And so will I. Freedom with much more free time and in a really more peace way.

When I look back to my voyage in Erepublik lands, I just can enjoy - what a ride it was, from total newbie seldomly receiving Q1 weapons on missions for a Phoenix alliance to the largest challenge that started pair of years ago. From trying to make a train around the serbian cores in order to protect them, macedonians and iranians to planning and taking a part in liberation of the whole World, cleaning the spread cancer out of it: flying to the South America without any clear vision, just with a hope. And magically succeeding there. Liberating Africa and Australia. Finally, launching campaign in the North America with an aim to survive two days, but exceeding all expectations.

Thanks Pheo, Panda, Golden, Sucateiro, Matrim, Emrace, Privi, Vampire, Georgica and everyone else from a planning chat who make this possible o7

After that I felt satiated with a game and tried to go to a shadow, but resource wars was one more challenge to accept. One more successful odyssey and a question - what else to seek here, what else could be achieved? As everything what you are doing is fun just while you have aims, while you are learning, while you are having first-times.

While admins were trying to kill a game, we were doing their job: Greenday_1989 has launched program for air and ground players. We've managed to get from country with nearly 0 air damage to become the one that may have even an upper hand in decisive rounds. Get six legend ranks increases in one month with our small population in one month without any tanking events.

But then admins stroke again, killing a wish to do anything and also - to keep staying here. First of all, they have temporarily banned Greenday_1989. Without any reason, accuses, explains or even answer to appeal... Then forced players getting into those stupid captcha games. Once needed one hit (when because of determination wall was flipped by 400k damage, but instead of one hit needed like half of minute to solve captcha and then manually enter amount of health to make that single kill) and after that thought - do I really need that. Finally, admins have crossed the line by banning three our low division players. As I didn't have Maverick Pack since the end of Resource wars (so wasn't using their hits), this didn't affect me directly. But seeing that real players are forced to leave because of their arbitrariness hurts. Especially when we were putting lots of efforts to improve community. They don't care about cheaters that influence battles (have 7 tickets open with reported botnets (two of them are even from 16th of March 2020 - that is 11 months old), all are still open, marked as "under investigation"), but punishing without any hints or warnings those who are making game more pleasant (for example, good luck trying to find a hitter at some 7-8am European time) to others - lots of nationalities were benefiting from their hits: lithuanians, latvians macedonians, hungarians, french, etc, etc, etc.... Despite the scripts are (or at least) were legal de facto. I have mentioned using them in some tickets and didn't hear a single word that it's not ok. Just a shame. And definitely not the place I want to be anymore.

I think I'll hang around in 2-click mode and maybe in one or other more interesting event would it exists. Or maybe will just slowly disappear. If you need anything (or just to remember old-good times), you still can find me on Telegram @VytautasLT despite I've joined there just because of erep.

Thanks to everyone with whom we were marching leg-to-leg in one or other period. And thanks to those opponents who knew limit between being opponents and enemies, who made that it was a challenge, not just a farmville. Have fun if it's still possible here!!!

Tried being best friend and best enemy. Just what I am. Maybe... somewhere, someday... 🙂

And now, lets celebrate FREEDOM. Mine and Lithuania's. Write in comments "I love Lithuania" and some-when at the end of the week I'll share some random prizes o7

Greetings,
MD
