Sweet Promotes Bipartisanship in eIreland
Colin Fox
A man who attempts to present himself as someone willing to consider the opposition, but only if it suits his own agenda to look like a "moderate". The truth is, for all new eIrish people, his heart lies purely in the perpetuation of the bourgeois established order! He speaks of ICA, an over-privileged group of trolls, bullies, thieves, and notable PTO'ers, but the ICA is nothing but a relic of the past! There are many members who are very good eIrish citizens, eInternational citizens, but the top leaders in eIreland generally consist of players with questionable histories.
You wanna compare me to any Kunt? I gave 5 gold to a player. No matter what role playing scheme I was fulfilling, I gave five gold to one player. That is nowhere near on the same level as all the robberies of the State treasury, tens of players who have left or quit eRepublik altogether due to harassment and trolling, and general negativity and intimidation that these Kunts have plagued eIreland with for too long.
Sweet sounded the call for civil war. The bourgeoisie initiated this confrontation, eIrish people let's show them that we're not afraid of authoritarian fascists! No longer do the eIrish people need to be kept out of government action! We want DEMOCRACY NOW!
We're onto you, we're organizing, you'll be hearing from us!
Comrade Bane

O_o....
Voted because I now suspect these articles are satire. Keep it up Mike.
I actually am celebrating the fact one of my essays may get published in an academic journal within the next year and I am starting graduate school since I earned my bachelor's in IPE (International Political Economy)! So I am a bit drunk off some Red Stag bourbon. I like to sound opinionated and vocal about my e-political values.
Sweet has always been a capitalist, though I don't despise him personally he's pretty alright, but politically I understand his motives and what his class seeks.
Congrats. I suppose it's just that in the context of eR such language has to sound sort of silly. This being just a game, the only real capitalist is Plato. I think Sweet is probably a capitalist in RL, but he doesn't qualify in any meaningful sense in-game imo. The mechanics of industry in eR don't allow so much for exploitation of man by man, nor do they really allow for co-operative enterprise or centralized economics. They do however allow for Plato to make a pretty penny.
I would be interested to talk with you about RL economic theory however, especially if you might get published. We probably have quite a bit in common in our thinking - but more interestingly, I suspect we'd have some significant differences too.
See this face of the hydra quote his fancy edu-stocrat degrees.
Whoever "MikeBane" was is very different from who I am now, but I often like to play into my character as a ruffle-rowser (is that a word?) haha
It goes without saying that I disregard bourgeois economic theory. I completely disregard capitalist economics as unsustainable since it ultimately seeks profit over everything else including environmental externalities and overall waste and overconsumption (yet underconsumption somehow justified?). I never bothered to learn beyond basic micro-macro courses in economics, I found Marxist economics more promising toward developing a more equitable model. I am all about exploring viable alternatives but more specifically the eco-socialist model of production in which local economies produce according to need and then a small surplus for emergency, aid, and relief for communities who are suffering from shortage or disaster relief.
I know this limits my knowledge in economics, but frankly it seems irrelevant when, as a Millenial, I've grown up in a world in rapid change and need of revolution. The old order will fight with all its might, but how can we let them drive us into an ecological and economic disaster waiting to happen?
The depletion of the middle class was predicted as a symptom of late capitalism and the next step, if we are to continue our liberation from the realm of necessity, is to pursue socialism. Of course this requires social revolution before the working class can gain consciousness of itself as a class for itself. That is why social justice movements play such a big role in the realization of socialism.
Democracy, in its furthered logical implementation, is socialism and vice versa. I don't think there is any argument against that.
Colin Fox- Whoever- "MikeBane" was is very different from who I am now."
Edustocrats believe they can slip in and out of characters like a snake sheds an old skin. People without stable characters DON'T HAVE ANY CHARACTER no matter how many you forms you take.
Pes off wanker, people change within the span of 4-5 years. If you aren't changing that often than you're due for some revision yourself.
The MikeBane persona got too slimy even for your own tastes, so you attempted to slither out of it like any reptile. The people will not be fooled by an empty husk. the sanke remains a snake.
Congrats on the publishing.
Mike claims he "only gave 5 gold to one player" to betray his entire nation.
It's no coincidence that converts exactly into 30 pieces of Silver.
His party The INDEPENDENT LABOUR PARTY (ILP) is responsible for the largest disappearances of resources in eIrish history.
ILP made eIreland as BANKRUPT AS THEIR SOULS.
I like what you did there lol
Since when has the ILP ever liked the truth?
^ Proclaims "His" divine word, the "Truth". The Kurgan probably has some objections to this!
Also - that sounds like mighty fascist talk. We don't take kindly to those authoritarian types around here.
Sooo, you admit that your group is responsible for the largest loss of eIrish resources in our history and the collapse of our egalatarian utopia with your reticence on the matter.
At least your silence rings true.
There is indeed only 1 word. What you numbskullians utter is either mildly amusing to the primordial power in eIreland ,posturing or anal retentive crap, or long and boring with a sprinkling of the truth. So which one is yours?
"bachelor's in IPE (International Political Economy"
Perhaps you'd like to do my college essay for me?
"In Ireland as well as many other countries, the judiciary are not elected but nominated by government on the advice of an independent selection board. What are the advantages and disadvantages of an un-elected elite holding so much power? Your answer should consider the tension between judicial independence and accountability."
I wouldn't have Mike write any political paper you wish to get a passing grade on 😁
i reckon he could make me pass
gas?
