State of the World, and a Lesson About Trolls

Hello Ireland! It's about time for another update on the state of the world as of today, Day 2120 (September 10, 2013).

Anglo-Belgian War, and the State of Ireland
Might as well start close to home. For the time being, Ireland is at peace, and the occupation of Cork, Mayo and Shannon by the British continues. The British, however, have recently gone to war with Belgium. There have been several attempts by either side to invade the other, all of which have failed so far, due to the two nation's shields. Battles are alternating between Flanders and East/South East of England, depending on which side is attacking. Come on Ireland, let's give our Belgian friends a hand.



The Slovenian Situation
Slovenia is currently being attacked on all sides by France and Croatia, along with Italian, Austrian, and Swiss resistance forces. Thanks to CoT support, Slovenia is quickly losing its hold on Southern Europe. Despite Serbian attacks on Croatian home territory, Croatian forces continue to push south through Italy. If the current trend continues, it may not be long before Italy and Switzerland are free, and Slovenia is possibly even struggling to maintain control over it's home territories. Within the next few hours, we will have gained a Mutual Protection Pact with France, allowing us to fight against Slovenia from here at home.



The War in Scandinavia
The fighting in Scandinavia continues between TWO and CoT/Asgard. On the TWO side are the three Baltic States: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Opposing them are Asgard members Norway, Sweden, and Finland, along with CoT member Bulgaria. Following a successful Bulgarian airstrike and several Norwegian and Swedish resistance wars, Lithuania has been driven back across the Baltic, while Latvia is attacking Sweden, and Estonia is attempting to maintain a foothold in Finnish territory.



The Americas
Not much different around the Americas. Canada is free from Spain, and Mexico and the United States continue the fight against the TWO invaders, while at the same time supporting friendly resistance efforts overseas. South America is split between TWO/pro-TWO and CoT/pro-CoT nations, with CoT aligned Brazil and TWO aligned Bolivia both wiped by the other side.



A Suggestion For Croatia
For many months now, Croatia has been able to avoid being wiped by holding regions in India, along with Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. India, being wiped, is always attempting to get these regions back. After looking over the regions in India owned by Croatia, I noticed something. The region of Tamil Nadu, originally owned by India and now by Croatia, has no direct route to the Croatian capitol, meaning it has no bonus for Croatian citizens. Yet Croatian soldiers waste their shield, money, and weapons defending the region from Indian resistance. If I were Croatia, I would let India regain that one region, of no use to Croatia, so that they may have a congress. Think about it.



In Summary...
Ireland, it's up to us to do what we can to help our allies strike at TWO forces around the world. Anti-TWO forces have been succeeding all over, and with any luck they'll continue to.

According to urbandictionary.com, a troll is:
-One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.

Trolls know who they are, and the rest of you can probably figure it out too. All they do is insult and flame, and try to carry on arguments while ignoring everything their opponents say. They also tend to attack anyone who disagrees with them, as well as the friends of those they dislike. Sometimes, they even write whole articles dedicated to insulting or harassing a single individual. CHILL OUT. THIS IS JUST A GAME. So, Ireland, lets do what we can to keep troll articles out of the top 5 on the news-feed.
