Day 2,100, 07:53 Published in Ireland Poland by Random Irish Guy

Since most of my articles are all serious and business-like, I've realized I'm becoming more out of touch with certain readers, and since I like being different from the others I will announce to the world , my first poem in an article, that's right, you've read right, a poem , it will be based on the Irish national anthem - Amhrán na bhFiann so please bear with me , I hope you all enjoy it.

Sinne Fianna Fáil
Us Irish we stand tall

atá faoi gheall ag Éirinn
The Brits be stopped and starin'

Buíon dár slua thar toinn do ráinig chughainn
The Old and the New, we all want to win

Faoi mhóid bheith saor Seantír ár sinsear feasta
The Enemy's over there, let's go and steal their pasta

Ní fhágfar faoin tíorán ná faoin tráill
Our Army is waiting for the Call

Anocht a théam sa bhearna baoil
Tonight we throw all traitors in jail

Le gean ar Ghaeil, chun báis nó saoil
We cannot fail come flight or sail

Le gunna scréach faoi lámhach na bpiléar
They're gonna screech, they're over there

Seo libh canaig amhrán na bhfiann
We're Irish and will bow to no Queen.

Note: This is not a translation, I am merely rhyming English words with the Irish words.

Here is the translation:

Sinne Fianna Fáil,
atá faoi gheall ag Éirinn,
Buíon dár slua
thar toinn do ráinig chughainn,
Faoi mhóid bheith saor
Seantír ár sinsear feasta,
Ní fhágfar faoin tíorán ná faoin tráill.
Anocht a théam sa bhearna baoil,
Le gean ar Ghaeil, chun báis nó saoil,
Le gunna scréach faoi lámhach na bpiléar,
Seo libh canaig amhrán na bhfiann

Soldiers are we,
whose lives are pledged to Ireland,
Some have come
from a land beyond the wave,
Sworn to be free,
no more our ancient sireland,
Shall shelter the despot or the slave.
Tonight we man the "bearna baoil",
In Erin’s cause, come woe or weal,
’Mid cannon’s roar and rifles’ peal,
We’ll chant a soldier's song

With That covered I will now conclude this with vote up and subscribe.

If people have enjoyed this I will attempt another poem.

Until next time friends.
