There is a practice during election time to trade Q6 tanks for votes.
Generally this is done by people that have no platform and no sincere interest in helping you or the general eRepublik community. They have grabbed taxes from you, spent it on themselves or close friends. And now that it comes time to be held to account, they have no creditability to stand on.
They brush crumbs from their table once a month and expect you to take them with gratitude and a big thumbs up for allowing you to lick them off the floor.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a government that would help you out year round so you could build your own tanks one day? But then they wouldn’t have anything to bribe you with and how would they get elected anymore…? Oh, they wouldn't.
Let me put it another way.
There are people in our society that also do things like this for those in authority. Things they probably won't have thought they would normally do. But their continued safety and prosperity is placed in jeopardy and they concede as those in authority would want them to.
Like this guy.

Some say take the tanks and just don't vote for them, but that opens the door too far and gives everyone the impression that vote buying is acceptable and common and at the end of the day that is the most important thing we have to fight, the idea that it is acceptable.
