Prudent pondering

Day 836, 08:08 Published in South Africa Brazil by Crumoet

I think that for the moment all of e-SA is celebrating getting Gauteng back into our own hands. The planning and execution of the operation certainly does credit to both the military and the government. My thanks to all who played a part in the successful operation and to all our allies who gave us the extra bite that we needed.

A few days have passed and now the cynic in me has started thinking… Browsing a few articles in today’s news http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/you-wanna-play-ok-lets-play--1233933/1/20 Should we as e-SA relax now that Gauteng is back in our hands? Another article http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/you-wanna-play-ok-lets-play--1233933/1/20 left me wondering if we should relax for even a moment with Brazilians still lurking in our backyard?
Happy as I am I can’t help but think that we need to start stockpiling weapons and take measures to avoid a PTO. The thing that scares me the most is that some of our allies http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/goodbye-south-africa-1231830/1/20 seem to have made getting Gauteng back the goal and now that it is achieved are moving on to other nations. Hopefully our leaders will make sure that we have the resources and the support to keep what is rightfully ours.

To those who are left behind we need to stand firm and “Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning.”
Winston Churchill
