G’day to all ye bright brave soldiers, and welcome to summer!



This edition of Airborne News is gonna be short and sweet and packed with info, like that summer course you’re taking to meet those nasty prereqs.


The Promotions!

As promised in my previous article announcing the new Airborne rank system, we’ve collected the first slate of promotions, given for seniority. Or time served, if you will.

Everyone receives a promotion to Private First Class (PFC) after three months in the unit. Here’re our PFCs:

These ladies and gents you may address as Corporal (CPL) from here on out!

In addition to those most excellent and noble greyhairs, Cpl NecromanMMO has the honor of being the first to receive the rank on merit, for his lengthy service as PCO of the 101/1 Fighting Cocks, after stepping down to the ranks under new PCO Lt BTTrambly.

And our second Corporal is Cpl Joey.J for his long service as DCO of Division 82. He will continue to serve the Airborne in 101/2 The Firekillers, led by 1LT Silencer156
