Parties and outliers

Day 2,450, 15:40 Published in United Kingdom USA by Alphabethis

In this social game, we all have long forgotten or ignored the basic
laws of our own social life. e-life is not life, but we apply the same
rules.

Man is a social animal, and he conducts very specific patterns of
social organization.

Man can, at the same time, belong to several organizations,
specifically if their territories don't overlap: work, pub chaps,
sport team,...
Family is quite a different kind of human social organization, btw.

Here at erep, we have witnessed, unwillingly the consequences of
ignoring some basic principles:

- every human group has a leader
- every leader has some trustable mates, consiglieri, who follow him,
this group is very small
- around this leader and court there are some other people who follow
or benefit. This group is somewhat bigger but very small as well.
Parties provide profits to a restricted set of members.

The implications of all these are:

- every party has a natural leader
- with no nautral leader the party just dissolves ( ESO,
pre-alfagrem-comeback UKPP)
- natural leaders found their own parties( New Era, GBDP)
- associations with too many leaders tend to break( DC departing from TUP, ...)
- no party can stan multiple leadership ( New Era)
- natural leaders finally get their ways somewhere, sometime (Hugh,
Holmes,... both in Australia).

- fights between different leaders (and groups) are just natural
- no group is able to keep a rich political community because of the
weight of the leader . Actually parties prevent the huge masses of
people from having a political life
- political entities are like icebergs, only a tenth of the mass has
'air presence' ( the elite)
- the number of 'trusted' people is always low

More or less, we all knew about this type of organization, we even
call it social life, as if it were the only one existing.

Besides this natural and traditional organization, there exists a
'no-group' organization or classification: the outliers. Outliers are
those kind of people out of the leader-court groups. Sometimes they're
jokers, funny people, clowns, thinkers, boring people, outfits or
misfits. Outliers have a strange attribute, they're people of
ideas. Instead of focusing on attaching to a group, they focus on
sheer logic and reason. We have outliers in this game, we know how
they play, but perhaps, you, reader, haven't thought why they were the
way they are.

Outliers do not "create community", but, on the other hand, they
don't enslave others under their own leadership agenda. They don't
pursue a closer seat to the leader or a biscuit (or a handful
Q7). They don't threaten political groups or leader farther than
exposing their own polical miseries.

Outliers are funny or disgusting or thought provoking but they never
leave you indiferent.

Some times outliers can disguise into leaders or counsillors robes and
perform much better than then, since hey usually understand the "game"
better because they don't feel attached to any bonds or limits.

It'd seem the outliers are a threat but usually they're a healthy
complement to the dull rat race that involves party politics.

Outliers pose bigs question:"are they able to replace the traditional
political organization? are they an alternative to politics model and
power as we know? to end with the leadership and feuds reign? Is a world of ideas
and fun or disgust able to fill the spaces parties occupy? Would masses turn into
outliers , thus removing parties from basic roots ?
